“Help the weak”
You have freedom in Christ if you chose to accept it. I challenge you today to live like you know you are free. Do not let the devil hold your mistakes against you, if he tries to discourage you today, tell him that you know he is wrong and that you know you are free of all your mistakes and that he can’t hold them over you anymore.
Psalm 94:18-19
Today I challenge you to simply talk to someone new. Not just small talk, really try to have a conversation with someone you haven’t before. Or if you have the opportunity, speak up for what you believe in.
I challenge you, today, to do something kind for a stranger.
“For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline.”
2 Timothy 1:7
I am a pretty shy person when it comes to talking with people I don’t know very well. One of my daily prayers is for God to give me the opportunity to speak life and love into someone new who needs it, the words to say to that person, and the courage to say the words He gives me. I started praying that prayer about a month ago and since then, I’ve talked to so many new people! It’s pretty amazing what God will do if you ask Him to talk away your timidity.

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”
Psalm 32:8
This morning I woke up nervous about starting this blog, but then I read this verse. This blog is in His control, not mine. I will try to post a thought or Bible verse everyday in hopes to encourage others. This blog idea came to me while talking to God. I was telling Him that it really sucked that I never hear back from Him and because of that it was hard to talk to Him like a regular friend. He reminded me of something I heard from a speaker a couple weeks ago: the speaker said that he likes to text God because that’s how he keeps in touch with people in his life. I started this blog so that people can message it as if talking to God. I will not read the messages or reply to them unless a message asks me to at the beginning. My prayer is that God will use this blog to help people grow in relationship with Him.
