This is what the effects of a snake bite on the hand can be. The pictures are gruesome and very bloodly, not for the faint of heart. A very small portion of snakebites are innocent, and due to the animal being startled, like this unfortunate young man.The majority of snakebites are taken by people either trying to pick up a snake or trying to kill it. Please research venomous snake ranges and habitats before going for long hikes or rock climbing excursions- and be careful!
