The most amazing thing to see was what Meryl had done in this, the way she was with him; by his side, right till the end of the whole thing.

JOHN CAZALE appeared in just five feature films over the course of his (brilliant and too-short) career, each of them considered now a classic and each of them nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture —making CAZALE the only actor in history to have a filmography made up only of movies nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture (after his death, archive footage of him was used in a sixth movie, The Godfather III, which too, was nominated for Best Picture)
