Anyway, you know what?  Liking good characters isn’t lacking in nUaNCE, it’s not lesser to like a character or a group of people who are actually good, who relentlessly choose the best option they see even in shitty circumstances, it’s not shallow or ~unable to admit their flaws to see the empathetic and sympathetic reasons for their actions.  Liking a character for being a thoroughly good person is not less ~realistic.  Liking a character for being a great person is not inherently less worthy than liking them for being whatever moral gray “flaws” someone else likes.  Loving characters for being kind, compassionate, caring, and good is just as full of nuance and depth as anything else.
