I love the confidence middle aged women oftentimes have. You talk to them and they have that warm confident smile, they’re so unbothered by what anyone else thinks, they shut down men trying to talk over them in seconds and they do it like it’s no issue. They find solutions to whatever problem so frickin fast. Aging isn’t bad, there’s experience and confidence that comes with getting older. Patriarchal thinking and beauty standards kinda pale in comparison to that.
Why be miserable over the idea of aging if you know it truly can be a good thing just cuz society told you men will think ur less pretty? Your life is worth more than being pretty in the eyes of ppl you can’t even stand.
