A California woman sentenced to life without the possibility of parole as a teenager for fatally shooting a man who sex trafficked her was granted clemency by Gov. Gavin Newsom. Her name is Sara Kruzan.

These brothers are abusers/complicit in abuse of the Native women they date, please do not give them any more of a platform than they already have.
Multiple women have come forward with allegations of interpersonal violence from these brothers. It’s mostly spreading on Twitter and IG at this point, there are a few threads which I will link here.
Beyond their alleged abuse, they are also actively harming indigenous communities by promoting pan-indigeneity (the idea that all Natives are interchangeable more or less, a monolith) as well as blood quantum theory and other racist ideologies that are self-serving for them to promote.

The police caught and arrested him. But despite the heinous and violent crimes he was credibly accused of, he was released without bail. He was free for three months AFTER police discovered that he was abusing 12 underage black girls.
Chrystul Kizer was raped and trafficked by this man for years.

this isn’t an old post; the screenshot has a typo: her hearing is scheduled for february of 2020 and if she is convicted as charged she will spend life in prison. she will likely never be granted clemency. her case and the court are far more stacked against her than they were for cyntoia brown, who regardless still spent 15 years in prison.
