So I NEVER do this and I am honestly quite ashamed I have to. I hate that I have to. I have prayed on it and still nothing has gotten better. So I am trying this route and I truly apologize for it. One thing I am learning is that even when we are naturally humble there are times we must humble ourselves even more.

I've run into some major financial difficulties the last few weeks that look like they will continue for another few weeks. I have a critical bill to pay that is currently backed up in the 500.00 area. However I am in no way asking for that.

My grandfather died…

Thank you so much for all the kind messages I’m doing as fine as I can at the moment with a lot of uni work to distract me ❤️❤️ Many of you asked if there was anything you could do to help out and as uncomfortable as it is to always ask, I need some help.

My grandad passed this week. He was sick for a bit and although my family held out hope we’ve already started planning the burial in Nigeria for June. I unfortunately won’t be able to attend his funeral due to flight costs but my mother needs to go, especially as my grandad’s first born daughter.

I’ve mentioned here that my mother has been sick and had to stop working in August 2022 which has made it a bit difficult especially now when plans need to be made. My family and I are trying to raise £2000 to put towards a flight for my mom to attend the funeral. I plan to put in £500 in the end of April towards the tickets and more if I’m able to find work this summer, but I desperately need help raising £1500 before June.

My mom has been trying to stay as stress free as possible since her diagnosis and through out chemotherapy but after losing my grandad I would really like to help her be with her family back home and say goodbye to her father. It’s a very big ask, if it was anything else other than a emergency I would have just gone without and managed, but I have no other options at this point. If your able to I would be deeply grateful for your help to help my mom.

While my parents, brother, and nieces are recovering (despite sustaining minor injuries), the tornado ultimately destroyed their home, displacing them for at least the next year while remodeling ensues. My family is devastated as they've been uprooted from their everyday lives.

Hi. Hello. I’m making another post cause I didn’t like the way my other one was worded and it was stressing me out considering it’s a big ask. I always feel bad asking for help on here cause there are plenty of people who need it more than I do but please know that I’m asking on here as a last resort as a student.

I’ve been having issues with my eyes for the last few month that have lead to migraines. I recently got my eyes checked because I was due for a 2 year check up and long story short my eyes are a lot worse than before and the migraines are due to prolonged eye strain.

As many of you know I am a student, so my funds are non existent. Because of this I couldn’t order my new prescription right away as I normally would, so I was given an estimate of the price for my order and it came to about £250. I can’t afford that anytime soon with what I have now on top of bills and my £30 medication I need for February. This is what I have for groceries and utilities till the end of March after paying my accommodation rent.

Hi tumblr. I hope everyone has lovely holidays this winter. I’m trying to stay positive about things, but.. i think i really need some good will this winter from anyone stable and willing to help. 

1. My small family is behind on rent the home-owner expects us to pay an extra $250 ontop of the 900/mo rent this month and until all $580 is repaid, and of course, must be done during winter, during the holidays. we’re being evicted if we cant pay this.

2. The only way to pay that is to sacrifice our whole food budget for the month and then some, which means no groceries this month. again.

3. A tooth I chipped a little over a year ago’s nerve is exposed and I’m in horrendous pain whenever I eat or drink anything cold, may require another 1 or two dentist visits with no insurance and theyre not cheap. Google says its likely to be a few hundred dollars to touch up and fix, it cost around 1100$ the first time last year and I have to assume (and pray) it will be significantly less to touch existing work up idk i’m not a dentist

basically i do not know how im gonna handle all of this or even just get my pain under control. but rent is the most important part. tl;dr i have to pay 250$ extra in rent this month (& next month) to catch up on backrent which i cant afford even with putting my entire food budget into it, and ive got pillow-screaming tooth pain and need dental work touchups.
