they’re all laying together in bed and the couple are both thinking to themselves like good, he stayed the night to cuddle and talk when we offered, he should know that we genuinely care for him and want this to be more then a handful of one night stands. and the stray cat guy is like wow this sure is nice i think i’m falling in love with them. it’s really too bad that they don’t actually give a fuck and hate me and probably want to kill me with hammers for no reason

Theres something in the fact that red is an important color for Din with the red robes of his childhood and everything and also the fact that one of Cobb's most noticeable features is his red scarf that he wears all the time.

time to wheel out one of my favourite bits from The Theory of Harmony

‘Red,’ Din smiled. ‘They call you Red.’ Cobb mouthed red, his knuckle tugging on his lower lip. Amusement sent his eyebrows toward his hairline. «You?» he asked. Din made the T-shape of the visor with a knife-hand. «Mando?» Cobb mouthed. Din nodded. «Mando,» he repeated. «Red.» Cobb glanced down at his neckerchief, as if he’d noticed its colour for the first time. Din used to wear red like that, a long time ago.

#dincobb#din djarin#cobb vanth#mandalorian#theres no heterosexual explanation for any of this#<prev I agree#I have agreed for some time#they liked each other SO MUCH#Cobb was ALL AFLUTTER#also this episode is like the ONE TIME in two seasons that Din sticks a landing#and it's so that he looks COOL AS HELL landing in front of the guy he just slew a dragon for#because let's not pretend it was all about getting an unknown Mandalorian's armour back#that was important for sure#but the Cobb part of it grew and grew#till going on his way with the armour was... anticlimactic#a little bit of a letdown#ONE DAY Din needs to spend time with Cobb just because he wants to#not because of a quest or a mission or a job#just because he likes him and he has pretty eyes and nice hair
