Wow! Somehow we've been keeping a schedule pretty well! You all have been a super sweet audience on this site and I love and appreciate all the lovely comments and tags you guys have been leaving :D That being said, Phantom Forces will be taking a week off mostly just to recoup the free page buffer over on the Ko-Fi- if all goes well post Milton we'll be back the week after

Hey there! I was thinking about SPF today and I thought of something. (Sorry if this is a question that's been asked before.)
So, the ruby pierced through Sonic’s chest and led to him becoming Ruby!Sonic as we know him. If it had hit him anywhere else, would it have affected him differently? Like if it had hit his arm, would he still have his memories? Or if it hit his eye would he have lost his mind? Or something along those lines.
I absolutely loooove your comic!! The art is absolutely beautiful and the story has me so invested. I'm super excited to see how things progress! :D Hope you have an amazing day!
Hmm that's a really cool point to bring up. (And I'm glad you like the comic so far) We have the Phantom Ruby through his chest at the moment, aiming and affecting the core of his being. I had explained it as a partial integration, a foreign power being half rejected by the latent chaos energy inside Sonic already. This overload causes his memories to be blocked and his overall perception be altered by the Ruby. If it were to hit his arm I believe it would only injure him slightly, maybe only superficially. I had made the Ruby able to change its form like a heated crystal so maybe it would act as a crystalline infection. Leaving a small fragment of itself in his arm to slowly warp his reality... maybe even trying to convince him to bring it to a larger shard/ source. As for his head... you remember that one part in the comic when Rookie is approaching a Phantom Ruby shard and its warping reality a bit and we see a bunch of variants of the same instance

if Sonic got hit in the head with the Phantom Ruby there would be no rejection, no convincing, no censorship... that being is the Phantom Ruby.

STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN INTENSIFIES Oh my word this looks phenomenal!!!! I love the shapes the fact that their quills go opposite each other lines up so well!!!! The lighting is fantastic especially in Shadow's eyes and hoo- theres so much to say here THANK YOUUUUU
The three scientists trapped in the factory in SPF at the moment I was lining the new page and wanted to define these guys before I continued. They'll probably have a few close ups after the ensuing fight but after that it'll be it for them. Maybe if they're rescued we'll see them in the city A wolverine, beagle, and osprey

Wait, quick question: Does Sonic know Infinite, since in previous pages, Infinite's face was... Looking rather odd from Sonic's POV. And in the new page, he called him "Mister Mysterio" rather than Infinite or a pun of that name. Or has things changed and he just calls him that for the sake of it. Either way, something I noticed
He knows him now, starting a gag of Sonic calling him any kind of nick name to poke fun at him lol. In my head I call him Infy (cuz it sounds like Anthy which is a whole other can of worms) and other than Finny I couldn't think of something cheeky Sonic could call him. So now it's changing every moment. As far as Sonic's POV censorships.... well, you'll see
