Why do I have this feeling that even if Lyanna ran away with Rhaegar by her own will but didn't want to bang the prince and have his child (she is 15-16, right? willful and wolf blood, so she probably wanted to live without a child for a while), he would force himself on her? And she probably regret running away with him later cause you know, her family was murdered and she was left alone and died. Fuck Rhaegar anyway.

Look I ghostwrite this. All these valid points that I keep making but people keep ignoring.

I love this because I don’t think I have talked about Rhaegar lately but I am here for trashing Rhaegar all day every day.

hey can i say i really like your house stark chess edit! i think it portrays their roles really well, and i dont see it as undermining one character over the other? a rook is just as important as a queen same as how a knight is just as important as a rook or a queen or a king. they're all key players and have to work together to protect their home.

You are precious and I love you! That’s exactly it though, all of them are equally important. Also some thoughts about it that are borderline meta:

  • The knight’s movement is the only one the queen can’t emulate (Sansa would have never survived in Arya’s shoes)
  • Pawns turn into queens when they cross the enemy field and reach the opposite side of the board.

Super curious why you hate Lyanna Mormont. Do you feel like ranting a little to fill us in? :)

Of course! Thank you for asking so politely, by the way, I’d be lying if I say I did not expect some hate.

My problem is that I don’t hate Lyanna Mormont, not per se, I hate that I can see the intent behind all of her scenes, that whenever she goes on screen I am supposed to perceive her as a feminist icon, but she isn’t and I don’t.

She is the epitome of of pop culture feminism and, while she defies gender roles, she does so not by insulting the system that forces them on women, but by insulting the women that adhere to them (see the ‘I don’t plan on knitting by the fire while men fight for me’ line), and that is not feminism, that’s misoginy.

The same thing happened the previous season, we were expected to hail as a feminist a 7 year old girl, head of a house, that took away a trueborn girl’s title to give it  to her bastard brother, and that happened solely because Sansa was a girl.

If you try to tell me that it wasn’t only because Sansa was a girl, please, imagine first what would have happened had Rickon survived. No one would have crowned Jon king had Rickon been alive, not because he was a truborn son of Ned, but because he was a boy.

tl;dr: Lyanna Mormont was written to makes us all go yas queen, girl power!!!1!!1 and all I see is a 9 year old under the influence of the patriarchy. She is, of course, not guilty of that but we, as viewers, are responsible of not framing misogynistic attitudes as feminism.

And what makes you 100% sure that Jon is TKIN won't happened in the books ??? do you really think that it won't happened that Jon I might accept it when the Northern Lords makes him the kin ??? the Jon hate is really awful and annoying I got sick of idiots like you who rebel when something you want doesn't happened like Sansa QINT !!!!

Hello to you too! I am having a wonderful day, thanks for asking. I would usually not reply to something like this but you clearly care a lot about what I have to say since you sent me not one or two but three messages.

First of all I do have something very important to say, the fact that something is canon, does not make it a truth for everyone nor something that can’t be changed or altered. Fandom is meant to be transformative, fandom is meant to be made out of people that demand more that those racist, homophobe and misogynistic writers give to us. I will not apologize for “rebelling” (as you put it yourself) and wanting changed something that was unapologetically sexist and no one should have to ever feel attacked by canon purists such as yourself.

On a side note, I think you misunderstood the purpose of my fixing game of thrones series, which is partly intended to fix mistakes done by showrunners in relation to the books (such as the cast of the sand snakes) but sometimes it just consists of thing I wish had happenned (like Rickon and Shireen falling in love).I get to do both of those things because canon is not law, and as an independent mind I have a right to do whatever I want with that material, and so should you.

Secondly, I have never and will never hate on Jon Snow, he is one of my favorite characters, and a big part of the reason why I still watch the show. Because I like Jon Snow I don’t like his characterization being thrown off a window.

Anyway, I hope you have a wonderful day. I would try to find myself something to do with my free time if I were you, however, you clearly do have a lot of it.

PS. What is a funng? I am really curious.

Can you do more of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros posts? They're really well done and I love your style. I'd love to see more!

Thank you so much for the compliment, I will definitely do more! IS there one in particular you’d like to see?

for the fixing game of thrones series, can you do one where arianne exists and actually has a decent storyline? or maybe one where ellaria isn't a ~CrAzY~ wanton child murderer? or maybe one where the sand snakes are properly cast and aren't a bunch of tit-flashing morons who murder their own family? idk just a thought

I was already planning on doing a generic “fixing dorne” one, but I will definitely get into specifics because I adore all these ladies and hate the butcher that was their characterization.

I used a template made by @lvnderbrwn! It’s in my queue so it will get posted soon under my resources tag, I’ll link you to it when it gets posted anyway :)
