I had to look up Benjamin Franklin because I remember he had written an opinion piece urging parents to inoculate their children after he had declined to inoculate his four year old out of fear of the process killing him

It’s times like these when I’m staring at my word document trying to write when I wish I had a writers room where I could just talk out the plot issue with other writers *who understand the source materal* cause having to explain the incest tumbleweed to my non-HOTD friends every time is getting tiring

Wrote 535 words for chapter 32 of into the eye. I’m having a lot of fun writing Urchin’s POV.
Me: I wrote Helaena getting chased into a storm by Vhagar where she ultimately got knocked into the ocean by a wave and fell off her dragon. It’s meant to be a traumatic event that completely alters the course of her life. She spends a month at sea trying not to die. She’s in a state of dehydration and experiences hallucinations. You know what I didn’t do? Have her have one (1) nightmare or hallucination about aemond and vhagar. THEYRE THE ENTIRE REASON SHES STUCK AT SEA! I wrote TWENTY NINE CHAPTERS! Not one nightmare about it! How did I miss that?!? Why did I not think about it? I spent so long writing and editing that section!
