out of all the jedi that were killed during order 66….luminara undulis death disturbs me the most because since the empire had her corpse that mean palpatine found it and got the idea to use luminara’s corpse to bait surviving jedi and padawans to lure them to their deaths….that is beyond fucked up and it pains me that this is luminara’s legacy…

Man, everything about how they handled Maul in Rebels was lousy. The best, smartest, most INTERESTING thing they could have done with him would be to have him join the Rebellion as a way of striking back at Sidious. Instead, they nerfed him and wasted a brilliant character. Like– yay, let’s kill off the known, canonical survivor of severe abuse in the weakest, worst way we can, because it’s not like other survivors identify with him or anything.
This basically hits it on the nail for me in regards to how they treated Maul in Rebels (and perhaps in extension, The Clone Wars series as well).
(Spoilers ahead.)
I don’t understand what they hoped to achieve when they brought him back into Rebels with similar mannerisms and goals. He felt fully affected by the events of the past, yet also stuck in a rut in terms of character development. He was going through the same routines and using the same devious methods -- he was a little too predictable, and it made no sense for him to be that way.
They made him stagnant. Running down a path for a vengeance that none of the audience could really sympathize with nor understand.
I know that Maul’s life was paved with tragedy and that it would have also led down that way as well, but I wanted him to be able to fight back against the one who truly hurt him the most.
I wanted him to get back at Sidious -- or at least try to.
I wanted him to reclaim himself both from being abused at the mercy of Sidious but also someone who had been so consumed with revenge and never really had any sort of agency because of it.
Please, just...let him be able to live and die for himself.

WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS INFORMATION
ahsoka through the years
Honestly, aside from the recent episodes that are screwing with Rex’s character, there is another part of Rebels that deals with the clones, that i don’t agree with.
there is the part where Rex , Wolffe and Gregor are about to sacrifice themselves for the Ghost, but the Ghost comes back to save them (and Ezra and Kanan do the saving). One of the clones says something along the lines of “We always win when we have a jedi leading us” and like…that was probably one of the most inaccurate/disrespectful things to say. It literally tied every achievement done by the Clones to the jedi.
Rex, Gregor and Wolffe–those three specifically, have all succeeded and carried out missions without a jedi in sight.
Gregor destroyed a whole separatists outpost. Alone. He did that…alone. There was no jedi to help him.
In the show, we saw Wolffe leading his whole platoon to give aid/relief to that planet of tiny aliens. They did what they were supposed to do. And as a commander, Wolffe was probably always leading/going on missions without Jedi.
Rex–the one who gets the worst of the writers “good soldier” treatment, literally led TWO platoons on Umbara against a sith and succeeded and there was no Jedi there to help him, or any of the clones..
So like, the tendency for filoni and co., to try to make the clones seem like they are dependent on the jedi and attempt to force some type of cheesy devotion to the jedi thus making the clones seem helpless without the jedi need to stop.
Like that is just another crappy way to take away their agency and equate them to tools for the jedi.
I just… Nothing… Watch to the end…

Star Wars Forces of Destiny | Teach You, I Will and Star Wars Rebels parallels
Since Bo is due to appear in Rebels, do you think someone (whether it be Sabine, or any of the Rebels) could call out her joining a movement that wanted her own sister dead? How do you think that would play out?
-- Minor Star Wars Rebels Spoilers Ahead --
I think that would be intriguing and I would be disappointed if they didn’t at least go into that. Death Watch was, by all means, a terrorist group. There’s no way to really spin that. They were passionate people but they also achieved their goals through very violent means -- hurting and killing countless civilians in the process.
I personally feel that it would be interesting if Bo were to speak with Ursa since it was said that Ursa Wren used to be aligned with Death Watch as well. I would like to hear more of their combined thoughts on the events that had happened during The Clone Wars and how things were run by Pre Vizla.
There is no doubt that Bo redeemed herself somewhat from aiding Obi Wan and not following the path of Darth Maul when he took over. But I cannot shake the feeling that there are more consequences to be had for her association with Death Watch during The Clone Wars and she and the Nite Owls may have been hunted down for it.
I can kind of see Bo being apprehensive about talking about the past, not mentioning it unless she is asked directly. Despite this, I feel she would be steadfast in her beliefs and wouldn’t be ashamed for what she did, though I think she would express regret over how things transpired.
