Hi there! I realize it's been a while since things have been reblogged here, but I thought you might like to know that there's a zine with preorders open that's dedicate to Happy AUs for the clones!

The main zine features art and fic of many canon clones in lighthearted situations, and nobody dies/everyone lives. There is also an accompanying PDF that showcases some OC troopers

Thank you for sharing!

Sounds like something that would be of interest to people here!!

Hi! So I have a OC clone who's a defective clone (he's autistic) and Rex takes him in and he gets to join the 501st. I was just wondering how do you think Krell would have treated a defective clone?

I don't think I'm equipped to answer on how Krell would treat your OC as autism differs for everyone who has it depending on how they are on the spectrum.

That being said, I feel that if you really want to think about how he would treat them, it's a matter of understanding who Krell is.

It's easy to vilify him -- he's very hateable but I've always seen little glimpses of how he possibly could have been a....good...general before his descent by the time we meet him in Umbara.

He's pragmatic, blunt and to the point.

Very no nonsense and goes by regulations. Believes in getting results. Is not easily swayed in his emotions. Handles pressure well.

So, I think regardless of one's "shortcomings" he would not treat anyone differently so long as they can pull their own weight and do what needs to be done.

He'll give credit where it is due.

But he is also the sort of leader that will call someone out publicly in front of their peers if they make a mistake. He's not malicious about it and the focus would not be on the clone being "defective", if they are. In fact -- he'll not allow them to even bring it up as an "excuse".

I think the clones who would respect him the most are those who do not care about cultivating a friendly relationship with their general but rather a general they know they can wholly rely on who always knows what to do and says it straight.

As in, they really appreciate the "tough love" approach to his command, and in some ways, his mentorship. On the flip side, there are definitely clones who hate him on that same basis. But he does care...in his own way.

However, by the time we meet him in Umbara, Krell has stopped caring at all.

Replaying Jedi: Fallen Order and I have ONE question

WHY IS

NO ONE

TALKING ABOUT THIS???

Transcript of screenshots from Jedi: Fallen Order --

Stormtrooper: Sir, if you don’t mind me asking, did you fight in the Clone Wars?
Purge Trooper: I do mind. All you need to know about me is that I consider the eradication of the Jedi the greatest pursuit I’ve ever been a part of.

I believe these were touched on in the Darth Vader comics.

At the time that Cal is around, The Purge Troopers consisted of clones that were the last of the production line. They were also programmed to obey Order 66, so they were still under the command to kill Jedi. It made them ideal to be sent alongside Inquisitors when hunting the last of the Jedi.

Hi, anon that talked about the racism with the Martez sisters. I just wanted to clarify that I love them both and I really liked the episodes that showed us how life on lower coruscant through them, which is why I felt so betrayed when the smuggling job came up. I learned after the first ask that ppl seemed to hate them and while i get that the last episodes were kinda eehhh, i still loved the first two. It felt so cozy to just see their normal lives and I loved the sisters with Ahsoka

No worries! I think it’s important to bring these kinds of things up, especially when it is about characters you like!

And yes, I noticed a lot of people voicing their dislike of the sisters for a range of reasons...Whether they are good or bad reasons is a debate I do not have the energy for lol but it feels like it stems from both sexism and racism at the worst points

I agree wholeheartedly about their dynamic with Ahsoka. I find it really nice when we have outlier opinions clashing with each other but the three are able to come to an agreement once they understand each other more.

They all have such different personalities and motivations, but it’s cool to also know exactly why they make the decisions they do.

Rafa and Trace are severely inexperienced but do not have the luxury to allow themselves to be seen as otherwise to survive in the world that they do. They have no security net to work with, but are also conflicted with wanting to move up and get out by taking risky (and morally ambiguous) opportunities they find along the way.

Ahsoka, on the other hand, was raised to be morally righteous and is used to being a position where she sees someone in trouble, and is encouraged to jump into the fray and help. However, she can also be a bit preachy and sanctimonious, where she offers her advice but doesn’t offer solutions outright because she is in a position where she has to also hide her identity.

Personally, I enjoyed seeing them all being challenged by each other but still being able to work with each other to solve the problems they had to face (often self inflicted lol).

It makes me wonder if Ahsoka returned to them with Rex and if they all teamed up together again for a little while before eventually parting ways.

The Workshop of Savomere

Word Count: 1247

Summary: Sari Nebi has discovered a space that once had a lot of use, but was lost to time, almost forgotten. The more time she spends in that forgotten workshop, the more certain she is that she was to become a Jedi all along.

AN: written for @celebrate-the-clone-wars prompt The Underground

Older younglings and Padawans are masters of finding the forgotten areas of the Temple. Places that only a child would seek out, whether its to be alone with their thoughts, to play out of sight of the many jedi masters, or to find peace in a time of complete chaos.

These are the places that belong to the children or to those who have never forgotten a child’s place. The Temple is so big that there are many places like this one. It was once a Jedi’s private meditation spot or maybe their workshop that was lost to time. It was a spot that Sari found herself going to every time she was allowed to wander on her own in the Temple. When she first found it, she spent an entire day just dusting and trying to restore some of the usability to the room.

Secret Admirers

Word Count: 1361

Summary: Arif Bageeh was severely injured on an assignment. As a result, his men, padawan, and his love decide to spend a day doing something nice for him so he at least doesn’t feel like he’s been forgotten.

AN: written for @celebrate-the-clone-wars prompt Secret Admirer

This is admittedly the first time that his men have seen him injured. If he hadn’t been so sore or confined to quarters, it may have amused the injured Arif Bageeh. Naturally, while he was recovering, his padawan came in to talk about anything the young padawan could reasonably mention. The padawan talked about his training sessions with Jaro Tapal and Cal Kestis, his pranks that he’s pulled on Commander A’doxx with Shade’s assistance, and the different antics that he and Cal have gotten into with all of the clones.

After Baves left, Commander A’doxx would then come in and brief him on whatever they had been doing, just so Arif knows what’s going on when he gets back into the field. Not if he does, when, and A’doxx is always so careful to frame it like that. Sometimes he grips about whatever prank Shade and Baves pulled on him, but he always follows it up with something along the lines of ‘But it stops Baves from worrying so much, so I don’t mind, just waiting for you to get back on your feet sir’.

The final visitor of every day was, of course, Jaro Tapal. They would talk about Baves’s progress or whatever new battle strategy he had for their men just so Arif wasn’t caught off guard by anything A’doxx could tell him. The most important part of their conversations were the parts where they were just talking until Arif fell asleep. Just long enough for Jaro to gently numb some of the pain Arif felt so he could actually sleep comfortably. Every night, the last thing Arif could remember was Jaro very softly saying, ‘sleep well’, before leaving his room.

“Shhh, it was just a bad dream. Just a dream, okay? None of it was real.” for Nikov and Dagorlad (I need more of that fluff vod XD)

Avatar

Thanks for this ask! Exploring the father/son relationship between these two is fun ^^

****************************************************************************************************

“Nikky? Nikov? … Nikov!”

Nikov’s eyes shot open and he sat up with a heart wrenching scream. His shoulders heaved as he panted heavily; looking around wildly until his eyes locked on Dagorlad who was sitting on the edge of his bed; head tilted back awkwardly and away from the knife currently at his throat.

“If you wouldn’t mind?”

Nikov’s hand fell; knife slipping from his trembling fingers and dropping off the bed and onto the floor with a clatter as the teenager’s breath hitched and he pulled his legs up to his chest. Dagorlad’s face creased up in sympathy and the half-Cathar moved so he was sat by the teen; Nikov instinctively leaning against his mentor’s reassuring bulk and swallowing back a quiet sob. They just sat there for a few moments before the crushing silence got too much and a low sob hiccuped out of Nikov.

“Ah … ah saw ya die … ya were gone … ah coul’n’ … ah coul’n’ …”

“Shhhhh now.” Dagorlad gently ran a hand through Nikov’s curls; mindful of the short yet sharp horns poking out between the auburn tangles. “Shhhh it was just a bad dream, ‘kay? I’m right here ad.”

All the same though; Dagorlad couldn’t help but frown. Nikov had been having these nightmares for the last two weeks; robbing the teenager of precious sleep. The fact that it was the same nightmare each time made Dagorlad suspect Force related shenanigans; only Nikov had never really shown any sign before now of having Force visions. He’d have to consult the holocrons again; see if the old bastards could shed any light. Right now though he had a distressed kid to worry about and soothe back to sleep. Still running his hand through Nikov’s hair; Dagorlad made himself comfortable. With Nikov this keyed up he’d be here a while.

“None of it was real ‘kay ad? M’ right here and I ain’t going anywhere.”

81 from 100 Prompt List, with Swipes and Spartan? Maybe Quicksilver and/or Cortan too?

Avatar

This was fun to work with! In light of the new Season 7 finally being released; I’ve chosen to fit this prompt into the Bad Batch! ^^ Cortan and Spartan are the OC’s of @naaklasolus

Prompt: “Yeah, I remember the drill.”

****************************************************************************************************

The camp was in total disarray as Wrecker lifted Jesse up by the collar of his pauldrons and Crosshairs trapped Kix in a headlock. Rex was desperately trying to calm things down when a dark laugh echoed around the small clearing.

“Well this looks like it’s all going swimmingly. Still can’t keep your own house in order Hunter? Pathetic.”

Hunter’s eyes narrowed dangerously as he scoured the shadows for the owner of the voice.

“Wrecker … drop him. Now.”

As the sound of one burly ARC trooper and his armor clattering to the ground with a pained yelp bounced off the strange crystal like growths that counted for plants; Hunter managed to spot a shadow standing in one of the trees. He growled low in the back of his throat and slowly drew his knife from his gauntlet; fingers signalling to the others where their chatty friend was. That was at least until a knife not his own pressed into his side; not yet hard enough to puncture the armor but hard enough to be a threat worth acknowledging.

“And once again an assassin proves why you could never match up to the A-types.”

The threatening words hissed in Hunter’s ear just as Tech yelped and collapsed under the weight of a dark armored figure dropping down on top of him. Wrecker roared with fury and charged at Tech’s assailant; not seeing the dark green armor that was heading his way until he was viciously bodychecked and went tumbling into the crystals. Crosshairs quickly decided that discretion was the better part of valor when a red dot flickered into life smack in the middle of his chest plate and he quickly raised his hands to show he was unarmed; releasing a wheezing Kix in the process. Rex also raised his hands; carefully stepping into the firelight and looking at the barely visible helmet behind Hunter. He knew that voice; and he should’ve known that this particular team would’ve been called in. Especially if no one had known that Cody was going to call in the Bad Batch.

“Swipes. I think you’ve proven your point.”

Dark laughter echoed around the clearing and Hunter fought back a shiver before the knife digging into his side vanished.

“Spoil our fun Captain.”

Hunter spun around to glare at the clone deserter in beskar’gam painted to disappear into the shadows; lip curling in disgust. He’d almost forgotten how much he hated Swipes; it had been so long since he and the arrogant bastard had last butted heads. Swipes removed his helmet and smirked evilly at Hunter before whistling loudly.

“Alright you lot; fun’s over. Let ‘em go.”

The clone pinning Tech down barked out a harsh laugh and shoved the specialist into the ground one last time before stepping off him; meeting up with the sniper strolling out of the shadows and the clone that had been standing up in the tree as a distraction. Dark blue armor covered in black angular detailing turned to growl at the green armored clone still wrestling with Wrecker.

“Spartan! That’s enough!”

“Awwwww Cortan …”

The blue armored clone planted his hands on his hips and shook his head firmly.

Enough.”

“Fine.”

The muscular clone grumbled sulkily and got up; shoving Wrecker away and skulking back to Cortan’s side. Cortan shook his head in amusement and just patted the bigger clone’s shoulder.

“You know how this works Spartan. No killing guys on the same team unless I say so.”

Spartan huffed and roughly shouldered Spectre out of the way as the sniper passed him; getting a snarl from the temperamental young A-type.

“Yeah yeah, I remember the drill.”

Swipes shook his head in amusement at the pair before returning his attention to Rex; deliberately cold-shouldering Hunter in the process.

“Now … I understand you wanna get in somewhere uninvited?”

"It's so cold..."/"Am I going to die?"/"Don't worry I've got you." for Nikov and Dagorlad

Avatar

I know this prompt is angst based … but I just couldn’t! So I went for family fluff instead X3

****************************************************************************************************

“S’so col’ … m’ah gonna die?”

A rattling cough followed shortly after the croaked plea and got a low huff from the tall blond that was standing in the doorway. Looking around the room that could very easily have been mistaken for a junkyard and not someone’s bedroom; Dagorlad adjusted his grip on the bowl of piping hot stew so that it wouldn’t spill if he tripped on something and edged his way into Nikov’s room.

“You’ve got a nasty ol’ chest infection Nikky not Karatos plague. A few weeks then you’ll be back to your usual pain in the shebs self.”

Fever hazed silver eyes tried to glare blearily at Dagorlad before the younger Mandalorian groaned and did his level best to sit up; wheezing with the effort.

“Tha’ Talan’s five spice stew?”

“He whipped up a huge pan-full just for your bottomless pit … providing you can actually keep this first bowl down.”

Dagorlad sat himself down on the edge of Nikov’s bed; lazily using the Force to clear a space on the young man’s bedside table for the bowl.

“It still could do with a minute or so to cool … don’t wanna burn your throat when it’s already sore.”

He ran a hand through Nikov’s sweat damp curls and chuckled quietly.

“What are we gonna do next time we get a job somewhere stupidly wet and cold hmmmm?”

“Ge’ … ge’ Snowjob ta go instea’ …” Nikov’s husky words were choked off as he was bent double by a series of bark-like coughs. Flopping back into his pillow with a quiet wheeze; the young man couldn’t help but lean into the hand reassuringly brushing his overgrown fringe out of his eyes. Dagorlad smiled softly and shook his head as he watched Nikov’s eyes slowly start to drift shut. Looked like the stew was going to have to wait. No matter; it’d keep.

“Don’t worry ad. I’ve got ya.”

Mistakes

Word Count: 1947

Tags: None

Summary: Ramirhe Jacora gets sidelined because of a single mistake, all while finding out his request for a padawan has been fulfilled at the worst time possible.

AN: This was written for @celebrate-the-clone-wars prompt Unplugged

Ramirhe Jacora has a cybernetic left leg. He lost his leg protecting Senator Alyeil Laygos of Lothal before the clone wars in a speeder accident. Fitting seeing as how his master, Pavi Bevu, ended up losing both of her arms in an explosion while she was still a padawan. Normally his cybernetic isn’t a problem, he does regular maintenance on it between fights and as long as he doesn’t get too much sand in his leg, it works wonderfully. Thus his problem is as follows, he can’t be near EMP pulses if he wants to keep standing in a fight, which includes droid poppers. If he stands too close, his leg gets shut off and he risks falling over because he can no longer balance. This is something all of his men are aware of, and they’re very careful about their usage of droid poppers.

Hour 36

Word Count: 1649

Tags: None

Summary: Arif Bageeh entrusted his padawan to lead a squadron of scouts to investigate another possible way around a canyon. 4 hours into the mission, his padawan and his padawan’s squad went silent. Now 36 hours later, as Arif leads the rest of his men in a dangerous fight, he finds himself worrying more and more for his padawan’s safety.

AN: This was written for @celebrate-the-clone-wars prompt Radio Silence.

Arif Bageeh wears his emotions on his sleeve when not in a combat situation. His men respect his command style of honesty first, which means that his men also know that right now, he was worried about his padawan. “Have we heard anything from Baves, Commander A'doxx?” The Mirakula general turned towards his commander, well aware of the active combat zone that they were in.

It has been 36 hours since he lost contact with his padawan. 40 hours since his padawan went to go investigate another way to get around the canyon. 36 hours since Arif started to wonder if he should have switched places with his padawan.

“No sir! We still can’t reach Commander Urety’s squad! We’ll keep trying to reach him.” A'doxx looked back at his general before shooting down two battle droids. “We can try sending a rescue squad if we continue to not hear anything from him.”

Summary: Ramirhe Jacora was born to Clan Jacora House Kryze on Concordia long about 27 years before the clone wars began. Now a Jedi Knight, Ramirhe finds himself back on Concordia in an attempt to help Duchess Satine Kryze to stop Death Watch and the Separatist involvement there once and for all.

AN: Written for A Traitor’s Reason @celebrate-the-clone-wars also most of the words that show up in mando’a are followed by their translations

Ramirhe found himself getting a little antsy as his ship approached Concordia. The duchess had made it clear that violence was to be a last resort and he was to meet with one of Pre Vizsla’s allies, one Countess Ursa Wren. In order to get there, he was first going to meet up with a member of Clan Croswa, House Kryze, to attempt to disguise that he is a jedi. To his memory, he’s never been to Concordia, yet the unease he felt wasn’t new. He’s felt this before, in the caves of Ilum.
