What if there were two force users and they are married have a kid but eventually they get divorced and go their separate ways

And by separate ways I mean one becomes a Sith and one becomes a Jedi and there’s an ensuing literal custody battle

They each have armies and battles rage across the galaxy all for one youngling

That youngling would happen to have a lot of potential for others following the Sith to back their claim, I imagine.

But it becomes clear later on that the one who used to be their compatible partner in life was now their evenly matched adversary. The fighting goes on for days, weeks, which turn to months.

If there is one thing they can actually agree on, it's that they want to settle things quickly to focus on their kid.

So, they decide on a duel to the death. The one who survives gets full custody.

Unfortunately, at the last few moments, they both deal a death blow to each other.

I can't imagine their child wanting anything to do with the Sith or Jedi after that.

I hope we’ll get answers on what happened to the little younglings the clone wars introduced us to in the ilum arc (unfortunately it will probably be in the tbb ugh)

Alternatively here’s my idea: a miniseries dedicated to them called The Lost Younglings chronicling what happened to them during and after order 66. Each episode dedicated to a different youngling culminating in a final episode that sees them together again.

They all survive and grow up to be strong Jedi fighting the empire in their own ways. maybe they decide to go separate ways for safety reasons in the beginning but circumstances and the Force brings them back together again later on.

I kind of imagine something like that being animated, and geared for a younger generation, it'd be so cute!

In the mess, I'm not sure if they'd all be able to stay together. Not unless they were together at the start of it, and even then, it's difficult to imagine them all getting out without there being problems.

But sometimes it's nice to just believe in a future that persists against all odds.

I just wanted to say I really appreciate everything this blog has done for the tcw fandom over the years! I joined about 5 years ago and u are still the same, welcoming and active presence. Also, I love how you always leave kind and specific comments in the tags for art! It always gives me the warm fuzzies to read what u write whenever u reblog my art, and inspires me to try to leave nice comments in the tags whenever I rb other ppl’s creations!

This is such a kind message, thank you! And thank you for sticking with me for so long!! "Active" is quite a generous term but I do try to be when I have the energy.

I draw too, so I try to forward the kind of energy and interaction I've always enjoyed most from others when they interact with my own.

Especially when we're all living during a time where consumption feels like it is going at a neck breaking speed. It feels nice to slow down and appreciate things that people put the time to make. Especially since tumblr really flourishes on this sort of "passive" commentary.

Hi! So I have a OC clone who's a defective clone (he's autistic) and Rex takes him in and he gets to join the 501st. I was just wondering how do you think Krell would have treated a defective clone?

I don't think I'm equipped to answer on how Krell would treat your OC as autism differs for everyone who has it depending on how they are on the spectrum.

That being said, I feel that if you really want to think about how he would treat them, it's a matter of understanding who Krell is.

It's easy to vilify him -- he's very hateable but I've always seen little glimpses of how he possibly could have been a....good...general before his descent by the time we meet him in Umbara.

He's pragmatic, blunt and to the point.

Very no nonsense and goes by regulations. Believes in getting results. Is not easily swayed in his emotions. Handles pressure well.

So, I think regardless of one's "shortcomings" he would not treat anyone differently so long as they can pull their own weight and do what needs to be done.

He'll give credit where it is due.

But he is also the sort of leader that will call someone out publicly in front of their peers if they make a mistake. He's not malicious about it and the focus would not be on the clone being "defective", if they are. In fact -- he'll not allow them to even bring it up as an "excuse".

I think the clones who would respect him the most are those who do not care about cultivating a friendly relationship with their general but rather a general they know they can wholly rely on who always knows what to do and says it straight.

As in, they really appreciate the "tough love" approach to his command, and in some ways, his mentorship. On the flip side, there are definitely clones who hate him on that same basis. But he does care...in his own way.

However, by the time we meet him in Umbara, Krell has stopped caring at all.

oh cool. another evil black character, awesome.

They haven't demonstrated an interest for black people (much less, black women) in Star Wars in meaningful roles years, why would they start now? lol

Disney is hardly the mecca of diversity and representation they want to claim. They might toss us a bone here or there but only for the wider audience claim and the money we can give them.

The day they cast a black woman in a main role in Star Wars, if it even happens? Great.

But I won't go praising them for something that is so easy to do, that they could have been doing it years ago.

Is it weird that sometimes when I’m feeling kinda down I’ll repeat the first line of the Jedi code and it actually helps

I don't think it's weird if you find solace in it. If it has meaning to you and brings you peace, who is anyone to judge on its perception of normalcy?

So long as you're not hurting anyone, find comfort in whatever, wherever you can, honestly.

Hi! It's clonehub /milfcaptainrex (CH is a sideblog so I have to do anon) and I was wondering what your process was writing letters to Disney and the others in charge of The Clone Wars. You don't necessarily have to answer this, and my DMs are open should you prefer to talk in private. I was just planning something for UwwTBB. Thank you!

No problem at all, I think it'd be good to go over. @clonehub @milfcaptainrex When I was still a part of a group for Finish The Clone Wars, we got the following addresses to send: Lucasfilm PO Box 29901 San Francisco, CA 94129-0901 USA

The Walt Disney Studios (Company) 500 South Buena Vista St. Burbank, CA 91521 USA

Just above the company names, you can just write in the names specifying who you specifically want the letter to go to. Just be sure that you are sending them to the right places -- When I wrote to Dave Filoni, it was under the Lucasfilm address, for example. If you don't mind, I also want to go over everything else we did in preparation. Writing the letters was always a part of the plan, but we also needed to generate enough "evidence" that was worthy for action, if that makes sense?

For us, we had the main objective being: We want the series to return. But we realized that the counter to that from them would be: "Is there are demand for it? Would this be profitable? Would this be worth our time? How would this be beneficial to us?" To which we had to answer and find the info to back up all those things before I would draft out something that could be sent to them. Of course, it's frustrating to have to think within that mindset, but they are large companies that get input from strangers all the time. People who will offer up their opinions on how and what should be done without offering what they feel are "real" viable solutions.

So, before we wrote out the letters, we did a lot of research and made a website where we featured answers to a lot of common questions and misconceptions that people had about The Clone Wars series and evidence at the series' potential and how there was still a very prevalent demand for it so we could have something that they could reference. On top of that, we also had our petition which also served to generate an actual number we could give them of people who were still interested in the show. The person who used to mod our official Twitter and Facebook also DMed a lot of the creators directly while also offering up our website for more info. Not a lot of responses back, but we did get feedback from the ones who did, and were told that generating interest and showing that was one of the most important things for the campaign.

Having multiple social media sites where people could rally under also generated a lot of interest and kept things active while we also interacted with the community on a very regular basis. In addition to this, we realized a potential issue in calling for people to write letters themselves was often difficult -- unwillingness to actionable advocacy, shyness, whatever their reasons-- we instead called out for people to fill out their well wishes / personal sentiments about how they felt about the show within a google form which we then compiled into letters to be sent to the whomever they requested (ie. James Arnold Taylor, Ashley Eckstein, etc.) using the Lucasfilm address. That created more letters to also spread awareness, even if the process of sorting out all those responses honestly took a little while! We had something around 300 submissions, if I remember correctly. I think it was a few months later when we officially had only gotten one response from Disney, from their paralegal specialist which led our group to believe that this meant that they were not legally allowed to really confirm nor deny their plans for the series. In some ways, I feel that was the same situation for a lot of the people we had contacted via Lucasfilm as well.

But the acknowledgement also confirmed that we were being heard and I think it also helped that we sent out the letters to as many people as we could. In the end, it’s likely that a lot of them get letters all the time but casting a wider net meant that we would be more likely to get a response from someone. I hope that helps, it's a bit long but let me know if you have follow up questions, I'd be happy to help!

Thank you! Got a couple others who also answered as well! It’s good to confirm, haha!

I sometimes just put things in the tags that I never really anticipate anyone to answer but it’s always nice when people do!

(Also shoutout to @notallthosewho-wanderarelost, I saw your reply, thanks!)

Obiwan doesn’t turn to the Dark Side out of anger or rage or hatred. It’s not a sudden fall, he doesn’t stand at the edge and fling himself off the cliff. He walks slowly and inevitably down the hill. He sees the bodies of the younglings he helped mentor sprawled across the Jedi Temple—all life gone from them and takes a step down the hill with each body he passes. He listens to his mentor tell him to kill the only family he ever knew and he takes another step. He watches his best friend burn alive and does not save him and takes another step or two. He sits with his mentor who tells him that they’ve failed, that they must go into hiding, that their only hope rests on the shoulders of the child in his arms. He doesn’t even realize he’s walked so far down the hill. But he does not turn back. He keeps walking, his back turned on the life he once held so dear and the life that was now gone.

(Sorry for the angst but I was inspired)

He is always filled with honorable and good intentions, every step of the way.

It starts slowly -- the way it corrupts him. Small decisions, small steps, things that he allows to happen and things he excuses little by little for the sake of the “what needs to be done” to do the right thing.

I can see frustration at not being able to help others driving him ultimately. And that’s a beautiful thing. At the core, he is compassionate.

But it’s tragic when the darkness consumes him, all the same.

He is still honorable, still thoughtful, still considerate -- but he turns those things into a sharp weapon and no longer stays his hand when it comes to those who persist to stand in his way.

You don't have to answer this ask; I just want you to know how much light and love you bring this community. Your tags bring such joy; I love how you make a point to bring such positivity to others' posts and to support some amazing creators. Your presence here is greatly appreciated <3 <3 <3

This is so kind, thank you, Anon! I’ve mostly faded from posting regularly these days since the show ended but it feels nice to be able to browse for new content once in a while and see new people or people I recognize haha

It’s funny being here for as long as I have. Things get a little cyclical and I often see new posts start up talking about headcanons or meta that I’ve seen before, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of how excited people can get and how new people can discover the show and feel inspired enough to make new awesome content for it.

Had a miniature stroke while scrolling down my dash and for some reason thought your url was "destroy-the-clone-wars" and I thought to myself "dang, that's harsh, I really like that show!!!"

oh man, I mean, we are all allowed to like and dislike whatever within reason but it makes me laugh a bit to try and imagine someone dedicating a blog specifically to destroy the clone wars series.

If there was someone like that out there I’m sure they’re pretty devastated at this point.

i know you have good intentions but i imagine it's frustrating for the artist (in this case, i'm referencing forcesensitivebantha) to have a request for a "send me a character to draw shittily in ms paint" drawing to get more attention from such a big blog than the other art he clearly puts so much work into. he's one of my favorite artists and i hope you'll consider checking out his other, better works!!

I really appreciate messages like this, cause’ I had no idea, thank you anon! I think it’s sweet you reached out and let me know.

I always want to uplift artists in the community -- haven’t done an official “Artist Feature” in a while, but I’ll be reblogging a lot of their art later today!

Why is there so much Fox hate?

It comes down to how things were handled with Fives. A lot of people put the blame primarily on how Fox shot him and didn’t use stun, thus killing him. Except I highly doubt that Fox was the main person who was making the judgement and order in how Fives was to be “handled”. Even if it hadn’t been by Fox’s hand, it would have been someone else’s. I doubt Sidious would have allowed Fives come out of that situation alive.

And hating a character whom we’ve rarely had any interactions -- someone with whom we haven’t even seen their face! -- is probably not entirely fair, but that’s just my thought on the matter.

What is it about "Burying the Dead" that just reduces one to tears upon hearing the first note?

I can’t get over how impressed I was with Kliner’s evolution in his music from the beginning of the series to now. This track alone feels so movie worthy -- when those first piano notes hit, I got goosebumps!

There is a sort of electronic distortion that plays first that unsettles you a bit as you wait to see how everything will pan out -- and then when the piano joins there is that saddening confirmation. Like, you knew what you were going to see but it still hurts to see it anyway.

There is that feeling of sadness, loneliness, and Kliner is able to enhance the scene so well with the music.  And I kind of love how that entire scene didn’t have dialogue and the focus was just on Kliner’s music setting the atmosphere and letting it drift you into the end of both the story, and the series.

Are there any official grammar rules for Mando'a? Like how to conjugate verbs, make contrations, and pluralize a noun?

Ah, I’m afraid when it comes to Mando’a, I’m not an expert!

You should reach out to @izzyovercoffee, if you have the time. Also, I’m sure there are others who study Mando’a who can add on.

From what I understand, Mando’a isn’t supposed to be too complicated to learn in concept because it’s supposed to be accessible to a lot of people.

They never said what happened to Kix :(

Yeah, the last time we saw him was in the series was during the Bad Batch arc, and we don’t know where he went afterwards. I’m not sure if he was present when Ahsoka returned, but I doubt it.

Based on what we know from canon, he should still be alive and in stasis. To the Republic, and everyone he knows, he is MIA at the point of Order 66.

It would have been nice for the series to acknowledge him being missing at a certain point -- or to even have us see Kix go into the investigation -- but as I suspected in the past, they did not have enough episodes to touch on that.

I mean, it’s the rule of story telling -- you can’t touch on something without it being addressed in the story later. So, they had to opt out and focus instead on Ahsoka and Rex.
