- If I don’t respond to your ask then I’ve either forgotten or I am taking weeks to come up with a decent response, either way I apologise in advance.
- I only cross-use TMA and TMAGP tags if my work features references to both. This way I can ensure people who have tags blocked for Archives related spoilers, or Protocol related spoilers, can avoid them.
Ever since Book of Bill got a whole swathe of frankly cracking Gravity Falls art popping up on my dashboard again it got me looking back through my own old art.
And would you believe it?
My first post was 10 years ago today
So in celebration, a redraw of that post-
with a little twist!

Human Bill Cipher design by @itsscaredycat
Original post under the cut
Okay so I know this is a silly ask but like—there are so many interesting things with certain episodes that would change if Stanford/bill was around in them. So I wanna ask about things from certain eps and stuff! Just a few simple ones(I really love this au btw it’s so interesting!!)
—How did bill respond to Mabel dating Gideon?? Or did it not happen in some way cause of him?
—Does he help Stanley scare kids on summerween? Or does he do trick or treating instead?
—So like- Did the sock opera bill plot never happen or was it just a somewhat normal play? Did he end up helping out Mabel?
I love the silly asks so much. For as messed up as the au is when you think about it, it is also still Gravity Falls, and there’s a lot of wacky hijinks afoot that I also love to think about!
— Bill was so close to adding assaulting a child to his criminal record. Mabel is his favourite out of the two at this point in time, with his relationship with Dipper still being tense at best, and he hates to see her free and chaotic spirit held down by a nine year old who’s more hair than flesh. I mean seriously! Shooting Star is a Star that needs to shine bright and unleash her boundless energy onto the world. She can’t do that if she’s being made miserable and boring.
I can see him arguing with Stan over the whole arranged couple thing, try and snap some sense back into his old, sagging brain.
I got my own Book of Bill today finally, and so a bit of this is based on the Vinegar Pete section, which, historical inaccuracies regarding one of my special interests aside, did show a pretty interesting to side to Bill, and how he is willing to give people power in the name of freeing them of their chains, alongside causing entropy. This is kind of like that, in a way.
Thinking more on it, he might even end up being there during the final confrontation — for a few reasons. Not sure which route is most plausible yet though. Either way, it’d probably be the first time he actively protects the kids from danger, namely because A) He likes Mabel B) Stan would go into a state if anything happened to these kids, which wouldn’t benefit his situation at all.
He isn’t super attached to them yet, sohe lacks the same vulnerability his future self will have.
— I mentioned this in a previous ask today but Bill and Stan have a tradition of who can scare kids the most on Summerween or Halloween, so he’d be at home with Stan doing that. He’d be annoyed to know he missed the Summerween Trickster. The guy owed him money. And he missed out on eating him too? His night is ruined (he’s being dramatic).
— I haven’t fully worked out Sock Opera yet, but I do have a thing in mind where Bill is desperately trying to sabotage Dipper’s attempts with the laptop, because he really is getting way too close. His issue is he has to be more careful about it. Not really his forte. I’m not sure if that’d work alongside the original plot of that episode, or if I’ll have to scrap it and come up with something else. I’ll have to come back to this I fear.
OKKWWKW I LAUGHED WRITING IT. It’s so ridiculous-sounding.
Alas though, it isn’t a fic and right now I don’t have plans to make it one, as I don’t really have the time or energy. That and writers block has hands I fear.
I have spoke a lot about it under the Not Who He Seems AU Tag however if you would like more!
You know, ‘Cipher, Cipher, he’s insane, starting fires with his brain’ being the description for his Pyrokinesis could imply that Bill was born with his unique abilities, as we know Bill is able to think/summon his signature blue fire into existence, hence the starting fires with his brain bit.
There’s also a lot of references to fire regarding the destruction of Euclydia, which would again imply Bill had some kind of access or connection to fire at the time. It’s also possible that if he was born with his abilities and they developed over time, he was able to alter reality in a way, change how his dimension functioned, and so things like the ‘sky’ and ‘up’ could be perceived.
And I can’t piece it together right now, but something about the impending death of the nightmare realm and the inevitable collapse of weirdmaggedon has me thinking about Euclydia, and if Bill altered it’s very reality and dimensions, and thereby disrupted the flow of its existence, could it possibly be Euclydia is an example of what was going to happen to Dimension 46’\ and the Nightmare Realm?

For your au how do you think Bill deals with adjusting to Fords body and just human things in general? Sickness, aging, etc. Does Stan look after him and help? Do they do any holidays or traditions together? Like Stan and Fords birthday, or is it a one-sided/forgotten thing? You mentioned that Bills memory on things becomes more faded the longer he spends in a human body. Does this or never being able to get out/back to his original form or dieing with it scare him in a way?
Sorry if this is alot at once, but this au been on my mind since I saw that first post of it. It's so intense to me and I absolutely love it!
He’s absolutely terrible at dealing with even the most basic cold, and tends to get rather dramatic about it, because to him, all illness is equal, and he doesn’t really process the fact there’s different severities. Stan still looks after him despite this. Well, the first few years together, he tends to do the bare minimum, but after a while, he starts taking a more active role in sickness care.
He realises that, as dramatic as Bill’s being, he really can’t process the difference between a flu and a common cold well, or, possibly, something much worse, so it’s safer to keep an eye on him during sick periods.
Aging is a different beast though. Bill is generally amused by Ford’s face ‘melting’, but it is also a reminder of the passage of time, and his trapped state. It’s part of why he dyes his hair brown. He’s trying to pretend time isn’t passing, that he hasn’t been trapped in this body that long, and brush aside the growing fears he may not figure a way out. He does take great joy in making fun of Stan though. Out of the two of them, he likes to think that Ford — and therefore he — aged better.
An extra plus side is all the new bodily pains! The downside is that it makes being as hyper and active as he usually is more difficult. Agony is a double-edged sword for him. He is simultaneously fascinated, entertained and terrified!
Birthday-wise, Bill does actually play along with Stan, just a little. Mainly because the first birthday Stan celebrated on his own, he offered Bill a cake, which, Bill pointed out he isn’t actually Stanford, so the gesture is pointless… and then he protested when Stan went to take the cake away. Birthday cake became a yearly thing after that. Bill likes it. Stan gets a day of pretending things are sort of normal, even if it’s not. He won’t ever properly celebrate his birthday with Bill though. It feels like replacing Ford, or giving up on him, and Stan doesn’t plan on doing that. His birthday wish is always to Ford to come back.
Bill doesn’t mind any of that, as long as he gets that cake. He’s a trillion years old. Birthdays always feel pointless to him? Maybe even a little funny. It’s like a countdown to death!
The first birthday they really celebrate all out and commit to is when Dipper and Mabel stay, and they have to fully lean into and play the part of twin brothers.
The only other traditions they have is that Bill tags along on Stan’s yearly vandalism of other tourist traps, something they both get a kick out of it, and Bill looks forward to every year. As well as this, they have a particular tradition that stemmed from a drunken game of truth or dare, where Bill dared Stan to spend New Year’s Eve out in the woods, and Stan dared him to join in. Now they… kind of just go camping most New Years. As you do!
Alright. Now that I’m thinking about it, they probably also make Summerween and Halloween into a who can scare the most kids competition.
Finally: Bill’s memory. Yes, it scares him. He’s used to being this untouchable and powerful force to be reckoned with, being stripped of that gradually is one of the worst experiences of this whole thing to him. The one thing he had for a while was that at least he hasn’t forgotten anything. Then, he starts to forget. His new, human mind unable to keep track of a trillion years of existence. The first time he realises he’s forgetting leads to an outburst that Stan has to calm him down from before he hurts himself.
He prefers not to talk about it.
He is adamant he won’t die in this body. He just won’t. He knows Ford’ll die at ninety-two, so he has around thirty years left, and he’s going to get out within that time. He’s sure of it. He has to. He’s Bill Cipher for Axolotl’s sake — whoever trapped him here can’t keep it that way forever.
(He’s coping)
(Also it’s not a lot at all!! I love answering these sorts of asks a lot!! Ty!!)
Have our cries reached you after a full year of war that it is still ongoing! 🚨🚨
Today, we have completed a full year of the fierce war on Gaza – Palestine – and the world is still waiting for all of us to die. 😔
We know that you are tired of the many messages and appeals that we send to you, but there is no other way, which I have to admit that it is not the ideal one, to conveying our plea and the suffering we are enduring.
We can barely access the internet, so please try to help us financially or by spreading our story whenever you receive one of our pleas.🛜🛜🛜
Look at the picture, and you will understand how much we need your help and support during these difficult times we are going through.
Will we be able to resist the cold of winter in these clothes? what about our children? ???!! 👧👦😔
Winter is coming now, and we need essential requirements that we miss and lack because they cost money in these harsh conditions and the insane rise in prices.
Starting with:
*** Rehabilitating the tent we live in, which does not protect us from the cold weather at night and has deteriorated under the summer sun.
*** Winter clothes, especially for the children and all family members.
*** Winter blankets to protect against the cold night weather.
*** Medicine, especially for my daughter’s eye treatment and for my mother, who suffers from high blood pressure due to the poor living conditions.
How can you help us during these difficult times?
Even a small amount of support can help us, at least initially, to provide:
*** Winter clothes and blankets for the children.
*** A new tent that can protect us from rain and strong winds.
*** Some food supplies to help boost our immunity.
*** The chance to relocate when the borders open and secure a safe place for the family where medical care is available.
In this critical time, we need your support, even if it’s just a little, as it can provide for our basic needs and help us to at least survive and stay alive
