So if you’re like me and exclusively consume Star Wars content for the clones, I went ahead and charted all episodes that the clones actually appear in (with speaking lines) including WHICH clone.
Surprisingly, its a whopping 56.39% of the Clone Wars, barely living up to it’s name sake. If I am missing any, please let me know and I’ll add them to my chart.

let's face it, Obi-Wan is only a stickler for the rules in comparison to Anakin. this guy thought lightsaber nunchucks were cool as a teenager and jumping out of politicians windows was cool as an adult. he regularly sasses the chancellor of the republic. he saw Anakin and Padmé being super obvious and decided it was none of his business. he sits pussy facing the world in important meetings. hes's a lonely single in your area. he won one (1) fight against a sith lord and decided they were his speciality despite getting his ass handed to him by Dooku multiple times. he's annoying on purpose as a battle strategy. every man he meets desires him carnally and he doesn't notice. he puts one foot on Han Solos ship and is like "damn bitch you live like this" despite having spent 20 years in a desert hole. he gets himself killed to one-up Vader one last time. he's winning the idgaf war
this just cements the argument i was talking about yesterday - it was never about hunter vs crosshair.
It was always about two brothers being two mirrors of each other all along. Just look at how they BOTH stall and avoid talking until absolutely necessary. They're both so extremely avoidant by nature it's genieunly hilarious. The confrontation they had in this episode is perfect because it's not pretty, it's not cute, it's filled with stowed feelings and looming resentment and it was supposed to be like this all along. This is truly the point in the story where they can move on from s1, from Kamino lost. Both Hunter and Crosshair can finally start to forgive themselves, start to change the way they were meant to, and I don't think this could have been possible if done individually. They were always supposed to confront each other, it was always going to come to this, and I love to see it.
Just look at the shot above - it's so peaceful. I could talk about for hours why picking the outpost as a metaphorical + physical place for this episode was a crucial and very calculated choice by the writers, but just seeing as they both come to terms with... everything. They can finally rest, they can stop blaming each other and most importantly, they can stop blaming themselves.
When Hunter says "maybe there's hope for US yet", and not "maybe there's hope for YOU yet", i cannot stress how crucial this is for both their characters and their growth. It's like, yes you made a mistake. I made them too. Mistakes happen when change comes. I would know. It's okay. We'll work through them together. and the way the lighting around crosshair is so warm, and the ice Vulture —the symbol of his regrets and grief, finally departs in the sunset. Crosshair can finally breathe. And so can Hunter.
It was never about Hunter vs Crosshair, it was always about Hunter and Crosshair.
i think its way funnier to picture that crosshair's relationship to echo's just like that. with hunter and wrecker its just (group trauma) but with Echo it's just.

I want the Hunter and Crosshair shouting match so badly. I don’t want the death-grip embrace right away. I want those two to let every hurt and every betrayal they’ve felt finally find a voice and to have them yell until they don’t have air left and then when it’s all finally been aired out and there’s nothing else left to hold onto they grab each other and crush each other into an embrace that says “I always loved you I always wanted you by my side don’t ever do that again you dumb shit or I’ll kill you myself”
the 212th teases their commander relentlessly about his not-so-secret affections towards their general and when cody's possessiveness over obi-wan reaches a new dimension during a mission, he finds the entire 212th and 501st in the barracks singing "great balls of fire" at the top of their lungs when he walks in. rex is the front man and sings the loudest.

The 501st and the 212th definitely have an ongoing game of capture the flag going on, only it’s not capture the flag, it’s capture the commander. The 501st is trying to capture Cody and the 212th is trying to capture Ahsoka.
When ever the Negotiator and the Resolute are docked near each other between campaigns the goal is to sneak aboard the others ship, locate the commander in question, and get them back to their own ship without getting taken down by the defending battalion.
Ahsoka and Cody are not aware of this going on and the goal is to try to keep them in the dark as well. Rex however, does know about this but he choses not to stop it. He finds it hilarious to see Fives or Jesse attempt to kidnap Cody only to get their asses handed to them either by the 212th or Cody himself. He also figures if anybody can successfully capture Cody, they deserve a promotion.
Cody complains to Rex about how his men keep ending up on the Negotiator without clearance and they keep bugging him. The 212th doesn’t worry to much about their commander so don’t actively guard him like the 501st guards Ahsoka. If she thinks its strange that she always seems to have two troopers constantly at her side when they are with Obi-Wan’s battalion she hasn’t said anything yet.

Obi-Wan and Quinlan as racers on the same team. Cody, Fox, and some of the 212th as pit crew. Anakin and Ahsoka as racers on the same ream, Rex & 501st as their pit crew. Palpatine as the shady principle. Maul & Savauge as racers with Palpatine as principle. Each track is in a Star Wars planet. Qui-Gon and Dooku are administration. Padme as PR.

A few common tropes that I’ve noticed in people, depending on which squad they love the most. Let me know if they’re accurate!
501st - An OG bitch. You’re both thirsty, and hydrated. You probably have some form of trauma, and you cope using humour, not that that’s a bad thing. The life of the party. Star Wars is probably in your top 10 interests of all time. You’re not afraid to speak the truth, but you know when to hold your tongue. A good egg.
212th - Either you ship Codywan, or you’re in love with either Waxer or Boil. You’re a little bit old school, play by the book, but know when/where to have a laugh. Loved by many. Approachable. Laid back and easy to talk to. Your style is fun, bright, and sometimes excentric. Overall, a pleasant being.
104th - Daddy issues. Or issues of some kind. You need a hug, but only on your own terms. A big fan of the found family trope. Probably introverted, but you have a good sense of humour, and you’re approachable. Funny, sarcastic, but also loving, kind, and loyal without a fault.
327th - On the sidelines. Do people seem to forget about you? That’s okay. You have a small circle, a best friend or two, and you prefer that over a large crowd. It takes a while for your true colours to come out, but when they do, they shine like no other. Very hospitable. A hidden gem.
Coruscant Guards - Tired. Seriously, quit chugging coffee, and go and have a nap! You probably own a dog, or ten. You refuse to fit into social standards, and you’re weird in some way. Coloured hair, perhaps? Always approachable, friendly, down to earth, but if anyone pushes your buttons, then they better run. Fast.
The Bad Batch - Horny. Tired. Deprived. You cling onto nostalgia. Hyperfixations are your main source of joy. You’re loyal, like really fucking loyal, and stubborn at times. Nobody is changing your mind, not without solid reason. Found family enthusiast, but let’s not make it cheesy. Could do with a nap.
Delta Squad - Fandom old™, but still keeping it real. The true OG. When you commit to something, you stick to it, even if it takes you years to complete due to procrastination. Down to earth. Fun and friendly, but not in a cheesy/faux way. A small and close-knit social circle. You know your shit, and you’re proud to flex it.
