I need you to be clear. If a group of people behave badly the answer is vigilante mob violence targeted at their entire ethnic group. Thats what you believe. Thats the hill you’re dying on?
You are truly antisemitic and you need to figure that out. Because if it had been reversed you wouldn’t be saying this. If bad actors from any other group misbehaved and people targeted every member of that group they could find on the streets you would not be saying this. It’s because it’s Jews.
i think you really pinpointed the thing here that should scare people most, which is the fact that these people didn’t feel the need to hide. they didn’t wear masks or scarves over their faces, they didn’t use coded language, they didn’t run and hide. they openly bragged about targeting jews and ran through the streets chasing jews with absolutely zero shame. and the most terrifying part for me is that they were that blatant and unapologetic in their specific targeting of jews and yet everyone still justified it.
and yeah normally i don’t like to say “if the situation were reversed” but people in my local community have literally openly (and disturbingly casually) talked about how nazis always show up to their pro palestine rallies. and yet i have never heard of anyone pre-planning an attack on those nazis. i have never once heard of anyone beating the shit out of the nazis that show up at these rallies, chasing them through the streets, demanding to see their passports, screaming at them until they say the words you want them to say. nazis. you guys treat nazis better than you treat jews. and that should make you sick.
