Never getting over how Ed is absolutely pouring his heart out to Stede, doing his level best to tell him how much it meant to him that Stede was there for him on the night he almost died, and he doesn't really get the mermaid dream himself but it means something so big to him, it's so important

And Stede gets that it's important to Ed so it's important to him too, but he has his priorities in order. So the very first thing out of his mouth is "wow. and did I look good as a mermaid"
