2. How do they show affection?

- Kisa is a very tactile person, the more she likes someone, the more she'll want to touch them. she's also very open verbally - she's loud, and brash, and not that great at lying or keeping secrets, so she's pretty free with compliments and such. the more she likes someone, also, the more she'll focus on them. this is especially apparent with aira, where she's like the number one priority in her life at all times, whether it's as friends or enemies.

- In contrast, aira is much more closed off, and from her, (public) affection looks like grudging compliments and actions that contradict her ostensibly indifferent nature. in private, though, (so basically, just with kisa) she is also very tactile. she is very much secretly a cuddler.

9. What is a virtue they wish they had?

- Kisa often wishes she was a less angry person, because her combination of short fuse big mouth and ready to throw down 24/7 gets her into trouble a lot, but on a meta level her anger's a good thing actually and she's wrong

- In aira's mind she's not a virtuous person at all, so really she wishes she had literally any virtue. again on a meta level though, she could probably stand to be less stubborn and accept change easier, but thats about it she's actually a pretty great person she just has low self-esteem

14. How important do they feel to others? In the grand scheme of things?

(gonna keep these ones short bc these are a lil complicated but anyways i'll dm u with more in-depth answers later if u want baby i love u 🥺)

- Kisa feels too important. she wants that shit to stop

- Aira feels like the least important on the planet, if her dying could even have a chance at saving literally anyone else she'd take it

19. What do they do when they're overwhelmed?

- Kisa gets angry. and when she gets angry, she fucks shit up. there was a moment in the dnd game she originated in actually where she got so overwhelmed and angry she ran off into the middle of the forest and just whaled on some poor random tree for hours and hours until it was literally unrecognizable. and then she hit it with a lightning bolt.

- Aira doubles down. when things are becoming too much for her she just grits her teeth, turns her brain off, and pushes through. it's that stubbornness and aversion to change again, she doesn't like giving up.

28. Do they feel more at ease in closed-off or open spaces?

- Kisa is a traveler. She definitely prefers more open spaces.

- Aira, meanwhile, prefers a sort of combination between the two. Like on a scale of "deep stone cave" and "wide open steppe plain" she'd probably prefer something like "overgrown forest". I think naturally, she'd probably prefer closer spaces more, but a bad event in her childhood has made her a tiny bit claustrophobic.

32. What is their posture like in public vs where no one is looking?

- Both of them definitely have a more rigid posture in public, but are sort of lazy in private. When they're together in private they kinda just melt into one big soulmate cuddle pile

34. Do they have any scars? How do they feel about them?

- Oh boy they both have SO many scars. Kisa likes them, and very much follows the like traditional view of their people's warriors as seeing them as like. mementos. neither good nor bad, just physical reminders of the things she's gone through. The big most important scar though is one she has matching with Aira, where Aira got hurt as a child, and ended up with a scar running from her chin, through her lips, up to the corner of her nose. When she saw Aira was upset about the fact it would scar, she, on impulse, took a knife and carved herself a matching one.

- Aira doesn't like her many scars, and associates them with pain and bad memories - except for that one scar she shares with kisa. she likes that one.

38. How much agency do they believe they have in their own fate?

- This is actually kind of a big theme here, is them learning to choose what they want to do instead of what others want them to do or what they feel they *should* do. So at first both of them start out with this idea (influenced, probably, by their religion) that they have a fate and though they make their own choices along the path, that path also has an unchanging preconceived destination, but eventually come to the conclusion that they can do whatever they want. this is also fun fact probably one of the only important aspects of their religion that kisa sort of gives up on, she remains otherwise very devout throughout her entire life

49. Is there a day/time of year that is important to them?

- Their shared birthday is pretty important to them both, especially since it's on the vernal equinox, which, culturally, is an important holiday to them. Besides their birthday, other days that are important to them include the day aira first came out to kisa (when she told her she wanted to be a girl - and then kisa was immediately confused because she thought aira had already been a girl this entire time, because somehow for like 6 years no one had ever explicitly and clearly called aira a boy in front of her) and the day they reunited after each, for a year, thought the other was dead, despite their eventual fight and separation not too long after that reunion.

i feel like its important to note that all of kisa and aira's big dramatic revenge-of-the-sith-style fights are like exclusively in their shared first language so all their friends are just off to the side like this while shit's going down

starting to realize kisa might be a teeny bit of a sociopath

anyways time for another useless oc fun fact but kisa's voice is deep and androgynous, and very smooth, while aira's is higher but like permanently a little bit hoarse/gravelly. they both have accents but kisa's is much heavier than aira's, despite having spent more time overall with human language.

i thought about how kisa's moms are immortal and she's not and now im sad :(
