So it turns out these posts are uncredited reposts of the original works and found on pinterest, so i took it upon myself to find the original artist with all their wonderful content to give them the credit they deserve.

Please go and support this artist as you’re doing now. Art theft sucks and when art is buried under tons of reposts it makes it hard to find the root of the source and can hurt an artist significantly.

Into the Sunrise – Concept Art

For the past year or so I’ve been providing concept art for Into the Sunrise – a sci-fi unfolding/adventure game by my friend Zach Davis for his USC thesis project!

Above are the final designs for the player character, vehicle and road ideas, a handful of color keys, some prop and debris designs, and the titular ship itself!

Also, here’s an animated version of that illustration up top, which was made for the game’s website and would adjust perspective as you scrolled down.

Personnal research

Visual development for a very lovely children’s book project I’ve been working on since the beginning of the year. I’ll have some more bits to share with you soon! 

Although alot of this didn’t end up in the film, it was still fun to explore some characters.  Here’s some random sketches for the early version of the villain (who used to be ‘Class’) as well as some penguin-made contraption ideas and other things :)

Reminiscing of that time when Derek & Chino climbed El Sendero Luminoso one clear day in Potrero Chico, Mexico. We kept checking in throughout the day to see their progress, and cheered when they made it to the top. Climbing is so fun 😊missing you@dirtbagdispatches & @kg.yap &@katelynmerrett and the rest of the Homeros crew!
