i wanna preface this by saying that i haven’t read the manga, so i don’t know most of what happens post s1 of the anime aside from a few spoilers

how i feel about this character: he’s great! definitely one of the best characters in the series. i love how calm he is and seeing his passion for food and cooking is so fun. one thing about me is that i will always appreciate a character that doesn’t talk much but still has a huge presence in the story

all the people i ship romantically with this character: none tbh. maybe someone great for him will come along later but right now all i could see is them forcing him into a bad heterosexual relationship that has the same vibe as those straight animated animal couples that are basically just clones of each other except the girl one is pink and/or has huge lashes and tits somehow even though she’s an animal lol. i know some people ship him and chilchuck and like i don’t judge but im not into that at all 😅

my non romantic otp for this character: hmm well i love the found family dynamic developing for the whole touden party, but i think i especially love the idea of him basically becoming izutsumi’s adopted dad. i don’t actually remember how much of that is canon and how much is fanon but i love it so much.

my unpopular opinion on this character: i don’t really know if i have any unpopular opinions tbh. i’m not super involved in the fandom so im not sure what opinions are and are not popular. maybe not shipping him with chilchuck or not worshiping him as the best character ever created, but again i have no clue if those are popular opinions or if it just feels like it bc of who i follow lol

one thing i wish would happen in canon: more dad senshi!! to izutsumi specifically but also the whole party in general. i feel like he has great potential for paternal vibes that’s underutilized by the canon and would bring him from a 9/10 character to a 10/10 character for me
