There’s one thing I will never ever stop finding wonderful about the way Darren plays Blaine and it is how his love pretty much radiates out of his pores…
Chris has acting down. He can alter his face/posture/eyes etc and suddenly Kurt’s emotions are written all over his face OR he keeps Kurt protected in his special way (aka disdain, superiority) but Blaine’s a romantic. He’s sappy, supportive, full of so many feelings and it’s insane how wonderful Darren is at THAT part of Blaine.
His eyes follow Kurt. The locker scene in 3x17 kills me because there are so many times that Kurt doesn’t realise that Blaine’s turning his heart melting eyes on him and as Kurt walks away, Blaine pretty much stares like a love sick puppy.
I can’t deal with how gorgeous it is and THESE looks just sum it up. There’s so much in them that they’re a little overwhelming.
Say what you want about Darren’s acting (he’s learning and fast and still has a lot to lock down) but he is absolute PERFECTION at conveying such a difficult emotion - bone deep love.
