You know a lot of people say internet friendships are untrustworthy or ~fake but personally I think they are more strong and pure than most real-life interactions because they are not marred by even the smallest feelings of selfishness or jealousy or obligation or any of the other feelings which always linger in some corner of your mind at some point, even when you love them. But on the internet, you love someone simply because you love them and there is nothing you really expect in return, just the person’s existence. And when you feel happy for them, you simply just feel happy for them, and there’s no tiny burst of ‘I wish that’d happened to me too’ or ‘I wish I was the lucky one’, nope you just feel and that is really kind of incredible.
