Unicorns aren’t helpless, in ancient times they were the protector of all fairies creatures and of all enchanted forest. They also aren’t so naive, they seem so but, usually, they avoid to be seen out in daylight, hiding deep down in wide forests, where usually no human dare to enter...
As for the fact that they don’t or never existed..well, dearies, few knows that they are indeed shapeshifters. It is a skill learned to avoid humans at best and blend with them, they are rarely recognizable but there’s always a gleam in their eyes, skin way too pale or a charming nature that makes them unique...
