Owltober 2021 Day 21: Theory/prediction you DO think is true but you wish it wasn't?

That Belos is going to kill Rascal, and in front of Hunter. It's just... It's a palisman living in the castle of a man who eats them for breakfast. and with Belos's 'prodigy' so the likelihood of him being discovered is a lot more then say if Steve was keeping one.

And the thing is, if or when it does happen it is either going to be the turning point for Hunter where runs away finally seeing Belos for the Abusive Manipulator he is or it's going to be the point of no return where he gives up everything for Belos and turns into a full blown villain.

It just feels like if Rascal survives it's inevitable that Hunter will go full team Owl House and while I want that I feel like nothing but Belos doing something unforgivable to Hunter is going to make him realize his Uncle doesn't care and can't be helped,or completely make Hunter shut down emotionally.

Either way it just seems likely to me even if I REALLY don't like it.

I don’t want Luz to be able to do magic without the use of glyphs. I think it defeats the purpose in a way to have Luz gain the ability to do magic without glyphs. It would be so disappointing for me to watch her pioneer a lost form of magic, study it until she became very powerful, and then toss that knowledge aside to perform magic with ease. Some of you might think I’m crazy for thinking that there’s any chance that Luz will be able to do magic without glyphs, but we’ve already seen her do it: in Young Blood, Old Souls, Luz consistently used Owlbert to do magic. We didn’t see Luz practice or train in order to use Owlbert as well as she did, she just naturally knew how to do magic using a palisman. Clearly, learning palisman magic didn’t require anything close to the work Luz put in to study and practice glyph magic. I think that was one of the most disappointing decisions the writers have made, and now that Luz is set up to get her own palisman, I fear that we’ll see Luz pushing aside her glyph skills in favor of palisman magic on a regular basis.

what if her staff is just covered in glyphs OR HER PALISMAN DOES GLYPH MAGIC TOO AND FIGHTS ALONGSIDE HER OFF THE STAFF
