Okay, I may be crazy, but listen closely to the harmony vocals in this song, especially around 0:19 and 1:18. Is it just me, or does that sound like Jason Ritter (aka Dipper)?

I have no idea if that’s actually Jason. It would be super cool if Disney managed to get Jason to come back and sing this song with Kristen Schaal, but I’m more interested in how this worked out in the Gravity Falls universe. The image of Mabel forcing Dipper, who does NOT like to sing in front of people, to record background vocals for her love song is not only hilarious but is also a super Mabel thing to do. I can envision that happening in an actual episode of Gravity Falls. So, even if that isn’t Jason Ritter, I’m gonna imagine that it is Dipper singing those background parts. Just to fill the Gravity Falls-shaped hole in my heart.

Disney made an informercial for Journal 3, and it is hilarious. They have this great gag where Jason Ritter refuses to believe that Gravity Falls isn’t a real place, and I have never related to anyone more.

Yes, Jason. YES. IT WILL NEVER DIE. Gravity Falls will never be over if I refuse to accept the fact that it ended.

Also, Alex Hirsch makes a beautiful cameo.

10/10. Beautiful. Also probably painful.

I haven’t actually been in the Gravity Falls fandom for that long (maybe a year?) even though the show ended in 2016. There’s still some Gravity Falls content I have yet to discover (for example, I’m currently in the process of watching the episode commentaries and some old comic con panels). It just kind of hit me today what a big deal it is that we just got some brand new Gravity Falls content. It just shows what a big impact the show made. After all, it did break several ratings records for Disney XD. I can’t believe there’s still official content coming out after 4 years. Alex Hirsch has said that he is open to making special one-time episodes or even a Gravity Falls movie. Keep it up, Disney! This is what the people want! Let's keep Gravity Falls alive!
