cartoon rompus is over

so after months of hiatuses and infrequent updates, this blog is finally ready to call it quits. sorry guys! 

it was our goal to make a huge post that explained the plot of chapter 2 and the following chapters, and all the other details people might have missed out on in previous posts, and we might still do that. There’s some old art that we never got to show because of spoilers and some neat plot twists that we’d like to reveal.

you may have noticed that the work doc for cartoon rompus was leaked in the tags, and you’re welcome to read it if you want. However, since the reason it’s in the tags in the first place is because of one of the ex mods going behind the others’ backs, and isn’t exactly an organized timeline meant for the casual viewer, you might want to wait until an actual post is made.

“Randy screamed really loud when I told him and ran around the school wearing both of the sweaters Mabes made for June and Mike until he found them.

“It... was actually really cute. I’m glad I was able to help.”

“Man, there are way too many blood blossoms in here.”

June walks - no, she floats; they float now - around the parameters of the room, as close to the flowers as she could get. “It’s not that bad.”

"How the heck did one of you kids get sick?!" To see Bill actually surprised about something in his little controlled death environment is, to say the least, satisfying.

Candace, laying in her bed in a nest of blankets, sniffs in response.

"Don’t your human viruses die in, like, a week?" Bill then starts a tirade against the awful human immune system, only halted by Candace’s weak voice.

"Wow, are you worried about me?"

"I’m so glad you asked!"

"No one actually asked for this, Mabel," I call from behind the camera, but that doesn’t stop Mabel. Or ruin the take or whatever.

"As always, I’m your resident matchmaker, Mabel, and joining me is my lovely assistant, Corey Riffin." She gestures to Corey, sitting at the table beside her. Corey doesn’t mind his title at all, throwing up some "rock on" hands.

"To answer your pertinent questions to the best of my ability, I’ve prepared a chart!"

Corey helps Mabel pull out possibly the strangest thing to grace the earth.

Hey kids! It's free time again!

“June’s throat got slashed open, and whoever did it left her to bleed out all over the floor; how could that have been anything but murder?” Corey’s words are more curious than harsh, despite their bluntness.

“Yeah,” Norman agrees, softer. “I don’t see how something so violent and careless could be an accident.”

"What?" I’m flabbergasted. Jazz stares at me with something I can only label disappointment.

((not an update sorry friends. this week’s update is going to be delayed till monday, and expect the rest of the updates for this month to be off track as well because school and life etc etc. everything should be back on track hopefully in june.))

The elevator doors finally slide opened, revealing some strange mocking version of a courtroom. Bill floats, rather ominously, at the head of a circle of seats.
