Not explicitly Tezuka related although he does actually appear at the end but I found this really interesting early documentary about Manga it’s a really neat time capsule of what manga was like at the time plus it’s cool to here about what Tezuka thought of this.

Angel’s Hill (エンゼルの丘) from Osamu Tezuka
Did you know? Shunsaku Ban (AKA Higeoyaji) is one of Osamu Tezuka’s first characters he ever created, if not the first Star system member. Shunsaku went on to be a very important character in many of Tezuka’s works, being one of, if not his favorite character to reuse. This is one of the earliest Tezuka drawings that’s ever been cataloged, a drawing of Shunsaku made in 1943, when Tezuka was only 14 years old. This drawing was rediscovered and printed in the book “Osamu Tezuka production notes and early works: collection 2″, which was published in 2012.
