Aziraphale leans in. It’s a gentle thing: lips brushing, almost a question. Do you? Is this? Crowley makes a soft noise in the back of his throat, his mouth a trembling, unyielding line. “It’s alright,” Aziraphale murmurs, pulling back just enough to see Crowley’s shuttered eyes, his creased bow, as though he’s in pain. “I’ve got you, dear boy.” Crowley breathes out, a warm rush of air. He nods again, sharp and sure; then he’s surging forward, lips pressing fervently, hands tangling in the hair at the back of Aziraphale’s head. Deeper, assured: I do. It is.
