“I was going through a hard time in London with my brother getting married and that guy thinking I was Ross’ mother. Well, anyway, I just. That night meant a lot to me. And I’m trying to say thanks.” “You know, that night meant a lot to me too. It wasn’t because I was in a bad place or anything. It just meant a lot because you’re really hot.”

Your son is gone.
Ok so I really want Karen to cameo in the Punisher series, but if she doesn’t I just need Frank to be sitting in some shitty diner drinking coffee and taking a break from his life, and then their song Shining Star by Earth, Wind & Fire comes on the radio and you just see him look up at the empty seat opposite, and watch the regret and the deep sadness for what he pushed away for just a brief moment flicker across his hard expression, and you know he’s remembering her, and that he still can’t believe there was someone who believed in him, who saw Frank the man; the father and the husband, who was someone he wanted to protect and keep safe, even from himself (‘stay away from me’ he remembers saying), and was so passionate and raw and good … and he let her stumble away alone into the woods.
And then the moment passes, he drains the last of the cold coffee in his cup, readjusts his cap, and leaves the diner without another glance.
