A throwback and build up to the present day, to which I have finished painting the part five poster. This has been four years in the making…mainly due to the fact that I needed the inspiration to hit. Although I don’t draw as much Jojo as I used to, I still love the series dearly. And research for these posters has been a lot of childhood nostalgia from old gothic novels to Drew Struzan styles movie posters.

And so for part 6 it will likely take me a long time lol…who knows. But it’ll be a lot of fun to paint!

Have you ever imagined the bed scene between Dio and Pucci from Jojo, but with Robotnik and Stone?

A classic!

For context, Dio is a power hungry vampire with massive anger issues. Previously in the series, he's a manipulative and violent bitch who oftentimes uses people for his own gain. However, in Part 6: Stone Ocean, we see a different side to him.

Pucci is a priest who helped Dio at some point, which intrigues Dio. Other flashbacks show them discuss philosophy and the nature of Stands (the power system in jojo's). Dio feels as if Pucci might be his only true friend.

This is the scene that opens with Dio lying in Pucci's bed without underwear. In this scene, Dio asks Pucci why he hasn't used his own stand power to betray Dio. It's a good question, seeing as Pucci has the ability to turn someone's stand into a CD and remove it from them. He could easily take Dio's power for himself.

However, he simply states that he has no interest, and that he admires Dio like a God.

To which Dio responds with the most interesting line I've ever heard from him:

He feels at ease by the conversations! The same dude who throws a road roller at a 17yo feels at ease when talking to this priest.

Their relationship is so intriguing to most fans. It can be read as romantic (mutual or one-sided), purely platonic, worshipping, or that Dio is simply using Pucci for his plans to Achieve Heaven™.

@pepporly might be onto something. Similarities can be found between Stone-Robotnik and Dio-Pucci's dynamics; a younger intelligent man is worshipping an older power hungry genius, that aforementioned genius hates all of humanity except for that one worshipper.
