It has been over a year since I got back into OPM more like fell off a cliff into it and a bit less than a year since I drew the original.

I get a reminder of it every day because it insists on showing up in my notifs constantly. I couldn't forget it if I tried. HAHAHA jokes aside, thats not a bad thing. Thank you everyone!!!

(as for the dysphoria one I think anyone with that level of cybernetics would be fucked up about it at least a little bit. Considering how the human brain handles amputation. I love digging into the biopsych aspect of that dude sorry.)

tbh I could still see Saitama kicking Genos out of the apartment in the manga since he’s still pretty out of touch with his own emotions. Seeing how he doesn’t remember the events at the end of the Garou arc, I doubt he’s cognitively aware of how much he cares about Genos. Saitama tends to be somewhat ignorant to how important all his relationships are to him after all.

HOWEVER. I could see it changed to a separation arc type thing. Saitama is confronted with “oh. having him around was kinda nice.” and he blames it on some half hearted bullshit excuse like missing the chores being done or something when really he wants the companionship back. So it would still follow the path of the webcomic, but it adds more development to their relationship + is a bit more in line with manga canon.

Saitama would get to face his own loneliness head on after being acquainted with friendship and develop a bit himself as well.
