I'm replaying skyrim and I always forget the the default face and the guy that greets you when you wake up is the same
And it's so fucking funny to me because all I can think of is them just
There are two kinds od people…
anyone that takes the red path is not to be trusted
skyrim is a bad game because i cant hug my friends or my husband. maybe i want to let the people in my life know i appreciate them dearly even if they just have three lines of base dialogue
and before one of you says something like “oh why dont you just play stardew valley or animal crossing or some other game where you get to be nice to people” please understand that i enjoy hunting the city guards for sport but that doesnt mean that im not full of love
The real Skyrim experience is innocently looking up a piece of armor and finding incredibly bizarre and specific bugs associated with it
NPCs in Skyrim just…tell you their whole life story in passing. You don’t even have to talk to them they really just go “my husband was murdered my a mountain troll” and walk right past you
Just like working retail
this is one of the most 2012 things i have seen in gaming memes and im still fucking laughing
*dragonborn goes to help arvel the swift*
frostbite spider:
other people playing skyirm: you can tell that there was supposed to be a murder here by the way the skeleton is positioned, the head detached from the body and the sword sitting next to it. over here there’s a note that implies the deceased party might have owed our murderer a substantial amount of gold which they paid for with their life. if you look in this chest over here, though, there’s a pretty hefty sum of gold. as you can tell the murderer no longer cared about the gold. it was the principle of the matter.
me playing skyrim: *kicks door open, checks skeleton for loot, walks across the skeleton kicking it across the room, the skull bounces off the wall and hits me in the face, i take 20 damage, doesn’t pay the shitty iron sword any mind because i already have six of them, takes a cabbage off the table but knocks everything else off, doesn’t even notice the note, leaves just as swiftly as i entered*
Even in Skyrim you can’t escape the memes
I’ve never seen a version of this meme that spoke to me at this level
