This is honestly an extremely sweet message, thank you so much

FW was in development for about two years before it published, ever since I had finished Please Subscribe in 2015, but it was signing up for the DCBB that pushed me to finish it. I think I’ll sign up again for DCBB next year and get my ass in gear. Having deadlines help :) And having messages like this help remind me that people enjoy it enough that they’re eager for a sequel

I can’t promise it’ll be soon, but I very much am interested in continuing the series, especially because I purposely ended it the way it ends :)

tl;dr: Dean and Cas are not done racing yet!

Right now, I’m super focused on Cas and Cas and Dean’s relationship. Fortune Won is just amazing and i love thinking about it and the different ways it could play out after the last chapter. (and deans guilt is always delicious i won’t lie) !!!

I LOVE IT

I’m in the very early stages of planning the sequel (though between this and that, I dunno when it’ll be) but there is still a lot of this au that has purposely been unexplored for rn and you’ve hit the nail on the head with things I’ve been wanting to touch on!

I was planning on having a kind of timestamp of some chapters of Formula Won told from Dean’s POV where you get a little more inside his head during certain parts (so expect that sometime this year *she says hopefully), but the sequel will definitely include more of Dean and Cas figuring out what it is to live their lives in both public and private life with their roles in the world (and all the countries they’ll be in). Cas’s brother and father will be in it more as well and yes, Hannah will have some things to say to clue Dean in on more of Cas’s life before they met. I like your enthusiasm with Cas especially because I feel like Formula Won might’ve been more Dean-centered and learning about the world, so it’ll be fun to learn more about Cas this time around.

“Cas doesn’t see his own value” is something I had not thought about to be honest, but I can totally see it matching up with something I’ve been drilling in my notebook and just hadn’t connected them.

Also, “Fortune Won” honestly just cracks me up (good sequel name, no @adoringjensen? lol I blame you) because I also had this issue when writing it out at the beginning XD Autocorrect just kept thinking “Formula Won” was not a normal phrase or something (again, @adoringjensen I blame you but not really XD)
