I still can’t get over how Adrien went from “I don’t understand anything 😀☀️” to “Nobody understands me 😒💔”
My favorite part about reverse Adrien is that he still gives off prep energy, most likely because of his father. He rebels, but the rebellion is small, in the haircut and eyeliner. But when he transforms in the Claw Noir, his rebellion is free and he goes FULL PUNK! I love my son so freaken much!
The way they just grab each others lucky charms when they wake up, I’m gonna be sick!
I like adrien really a lot :)
They lived seven years in nine months…
I repeat, they lived seven years in nine months…
And I’m over here crying that Adrienette is finally canon after seven years!
as someone pointed out to me earlier today, season 5's opening has an Amok LITERALLY next to Cat Noir for a couple frames
I remember seeing that but it's so quick it's not even blink and miss it's look and miss 😅😅. But anyways I had to make gif in slow motion for this detail:
Chat Noir be like "hey girl are you a feather, cuz you're making me really sentimental right now" I'M SORRY I'M SORRY
Also the Ladybug end card from season 3:
Adrien, I promise no one will love you any less. I know there's been a lot of salt for that but honestly I've embraced Adrien as one of my favs whether he's a human or a senti and I love him. I like to joke that he is so much like Gabriel (comedy wise) so he's definitely his son but there are so many clues and stuff that's he's a senti and at some point I just decided that it won't change my opinion on him whether it's true or not. This doesn't make him any worse, wish I could say the same for his family.
Friendly reminder that he killed 7 billion+ people in an alternate timeline
reverse adrienette is one of the most adorable concepts and i will fight
Comrade Mayonnaise y'all...
Maybe Nino was foreshadowing...nahhhhhhh
The way he STARES AT HER!
Bye it’s the same!
Can we create a thread of this?
I don’t know about you all, but I’m terrified about her masterful manipulation Gabriel is pulling on Adrien. Things are looking bright from Adrien’s pov, but we know Gabriel is manipulating him to do his bidding. Adrien’s is in huge trouble, whether he finds out about Gabriel being Monarch or he works with Gabriel (willingly or unwillingly) so Gabriel can get what he wants.
What are your thoughts about Illusion and Gabriel’s manipulation on Adrien?
DUDE
The moment in the beginning of “Illusion” where the Alliance ad plays and Digi-Adriens voice seem to come out of Ad Gabriels mouth
The fucking forshadowing that Gabriel will use Adrien as a mouthpiece in the future
Nathalie! Please get your redemption and save your son!
Adrien is in huge trouble this season! He's being manipulated by Gabriel to such a concerning degree that I'm afraid Adrien/Chat will either be forced to help OR willingly help Gabriel with his plans. And I don't know which is worse. I am so worried!
will never get tired of the running gag of Adrien knowing completely random / obscure / generally useless things that end up being exactly what they need against an Akuma
Another perfect example of how @buggachat knows these characters so damn well.
HOW COULD I FORGET
Mandarin is one of the hardest languages to learn, and Adrien knows it so well that he can STROLL OUT IN SHANGHAI AND TALK TO THE PEOPLE OF SHANGHAI IN THEIR LANGUAGE IS JUST…😭
Plagg “I’m gonna throw up in the last minute of the episode and there is nothing you can do/say about it” Camembert.
So… this is what I’m getting at from these past two episodes,
In Determination, we have Adrien drooling over his love and infatuation with Marinette.
In Passion, we have Ladybug (Ladynoire) drooling over her love and infatuation for Chat (MisterBug).
Got it got it…so Marichat drooling and being infatuated with each other is coming when?
Why This is a Adrien Focused Episode
Yes, this episode had huge focus on Nathalie and Gabriel and their relationship, but Adrien felt like the main character this episode. And I think the reason for it is really special; it creates this role reversal!
Remember, last episode, the reverse love-square becomes true, and this is the continuation. The writers are showing us the reverse of what we already know; Adrien is the main character, Marinette is the deuteragonist (in this episode), Misterbug is the one making the plans and leading the charge, and Lady Noire is the partner who is in love with the leader of the plan. We see Adrien in the resolution with Nathalie, that is how the episode ends.
Although this episode discusses serious topics, the akumatization fight felt like a flipped Season 1-3, and I absolutely adored it! It was different, it was unique, and this role reversal really emphasizes the importance of the reverse love-square by bringing us a dynamic that is pretty similar to us, they just flipped it!
They also did not change central parts to the characters we already know. Marinette's fantasy chart about Chat is perfectly in character, and Adrien just muttering what's on his heart and Marinette freaking out is also something we would normally see. The role-reversal does not change all of the chemistry of the show, but shifts the focus on specific characters to create this effect!
This is episode deserves it's praise, and I have not even scratched the surface. Now, excuse me while I go to the side and gnaw off my arm with all of the Misternoire and Nathalie content we got today AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.
