This shirt is from Transfigure Print Co.! They're a really great trans owned and operated screen printing company, they have lots of cool designs and also do custom work.
I made this, please feel free to use
I made this post a couple months ago, and I completely forgot that I made it
today has been one of the worst days of my entire life, and this post somehow made its way back to me, like a mental-health chef boyardee can.
it actually helped me a lot
have some more
This distinctively warty lichen is Melanohalea exasperata (with several friends) on a lushly populated oak twig.
It can be tricky to find as it mostly grows high up in the tree canopy - so far I've only enountered it on branches that have recently fallen to the ground.

i gotta remember this
you gotta be able to say "die"
you gotta be able to say "suicide"
you gotta be able to talk about "sex"
they're uncomfortable topics, YEAH for SURE
because LIFE is uncomfortable. Death and suicide and sex and pain are straight up going to happen. not having words for the way it discomforts you doesn't make it more comfortable, it just makes you less able to reach out about it.
even more vital, you gotta be able to say words like "rape", "abuse", "queer" or "racist". cause we fought fucking hard to name those experiences. to identify "rape" as distinct from "sex" and "racism" as distinct from "acceptable behaviour" and "queer" as distinct from "invert"
like the function of communication is not to minimise immediate discomfort. we gotta be able to talk about stuff that's hard or sucks or causes difficult conversations.
This is what's so goddamn terrifying about the Internet slowly collapsing into the same 3-5 websites--if Facebook deprioritizes you for saying "sex" and TikTok shadowbans you for saying "suicide" and Twitter X locks your account for saying "racism" we've lost a lot more than just the culture of the old weird internet
“Bring consent out of the bedroom. I think part of the reason we have trouble drawing the line ‘it’s not okay to force someone into sexual activity’ is that in many ways, forcing people to do things is part of our culture in general. Cut that shit out of your life. If someone doesn’t want to go to a party, try a new food, get up and dance, make small talk at the lunchtable—that’s their right. Stop the ‘aww c’mon’ and ‘just this once’ and the games where you playfully force someone to play along. Accept that no means no—all the time.”
And this is a constant practice. We all do this at some time or another, but it’s about working on recognizing when/how you do it and getting better at taking no for an answer, no matter how low-stakes the situation is.

I keep finding porn with chaos magic sigils laid over the top with a lot of transparency. Is this the work of some magus attempting to channel the power of strangers gooning?
Yes actually. I know a few furry artists who are also chaos magicians. That is exactly what they are doing.
“male loneliness epidemic” and “friendzoning” are similar concepts to me in that the conditions they describe are literally experienced by everyone at some point in their lives but when its men its some sort of profound injustice that needs to be rectified by checks notes giving them unfettered access to the public good that is Women
also the former "epidemic" being taken up in pop discourse explicitly or implicitly as a pathological consequence of feminism having "gone too far" instead of actually doing the work to connect social isolation to existing material conditions....no no don't worry about it just default to blaming women for men's sadness and dissatisfaction bc otherwise you'd have to confront capitalism and misogyny and white supremacy etc. etc. and nobody wants to do that so. its somehow very aggravating and boring at the same time. whenever i see think-pieces that follow this script i instantly fall into a furious slumber
You can see someone else also using the devices' second seat, and I think that's so cool. Mobility devices help everyone, here other employees also get a chance to sit while they're working. I just love mobility aids, man. It's like the cut curb effect
This setup is obviously so much more convenient than every alternative, gives him so much natural freedom back and is such an effective thing to rest on in general that I'm mad it hasnt always been a standard kind of everyday furniture. We're wasting so much ceiling space.
