I think I changed my mind. I think I want the shop to be on Etsy instead. It feels more professional even if I like the idea of having everything on one page. I'd still keep my @fornnord tumblr but more for blogging and archiving.
I am currently testing out the Etsy listings. The pictures and prices are not final. I am kinda battling between offering free shipping mostly because then it's fair to everyone (don't want to overcharge a poor sod when it comes to shipping). This is why I think the best thing is just to include the shipping in the price? Idk still figuring that one out.🤣
It's slowly starting to become more and more real. Like I only need to make the housings for the molds. Been putting it off because I'm kinda scared. Like me finishing the housing means I could technically start selling molds.🙀 I- this is such a big step like almost one of those potentially life changing ones... I am just scared I guess. Sounds silly since I do so want to do this.😅
I dread the shipping process too, I know I am going to make a fool out of myself at the post office no matter how many hours I spend reading Posti's website trying to understand how it all works. But that's life I guess and my discomfort at new social situations is definitely worth it in the end.

I am attempting to make a "deer headdress" with the horns and a bit of the skull. I'm going to need fabric to make it sit comfortably and securely because as you can see right now it's neither.😂
I have no idea if this project will work out, but if it does I am so stoked! I just need to figure out how to make it a functional headdress 😆🦌

1. I am scared of dolls, I can’t count how many times I’ve had nightmares about them. Especially the life-sized toddler doll I had since I was little. (Real curly black hair and eyelashes and shit, it looked like a mini-me and it wants my soul) It scared me then as a child and it scares me now. Annabelle who? That bish ain’t got nothing on Dockan. I swear that thing is possessed and wants to kill me. I’ve only had sleep paralysis twice in my life and both times that fucking doll was staring at me while I slept. (This was at our summer house, didn’t help that I was alone there.) And no I couldn’t just have moved it because that would have Upset It. I do not look at the doll, I do not move the doll, I do not speak of it. But I caved and told my parents who moved it for me. Still gives me the creeps. :(
2. On to some brighter facts! I am tall! :D just kidding, I mean I am, but as much as I like to say it, you all probably know it by now. I love spinach pancakes (pinaattiletut), blood pancakes (veriletut) and liver casserole (maksalaatikko). They are delicious and I hope you do not like them so there is more for me. ;) On the same note when I went to Scotland I had some haggis and I am SO JEALOUS!!! Why can’t we have haggis in Finland!? It was so good, like maksalaatikko but spicier!
3. The languages I want to learn at the moment are: Icelandic (’cuz then I can read Old Norse - two birds one stone) and Italian (so that I can bother Critter in her own language).
I made a silicone mold for myself of my favourite chess set. The Lewis Chessmen are 12th-century chess pieces carved from walrus ivory.
These pieces are, however, made from epoxy resin.
Alrighty guys, you remember that HUGE silicone mold a few days back. It was my Lewis Chessmen silicone mold. The reason it was so huge is that I don't have cookie cutters deep enough to be able to make smaller mold.😂
But I'm working on making a housing out of clay, then I'll make a mold out of the clay housing, pour resin into the mold and Voilà! I'll have a deeper housing made of durable resin. Now if I want the resin to be shiny I have to either coat it with UV resin OR maybe a spray varnish. But I still need to figure out how the silicone reacts to the spray varnish. I mean what's the point of making a housing for your silicone mold making if it reacts badly to the silicone causing it to not cure properly? It would just be plus minus zero.
Finnished casting everything and now I am a very Tired Finn.😪💤💤💤 Been creating since 8 am. I really wanna sculpt but I feel a slight pressure in my head (I don't really get headaches) which means the brain needs a nap.😂💤 but afterwards I got the funniest idea for a sculpt! Gonna do my ancestors proud skskssk🤣🤣

@acidyellowlava In all fairness I have been working on this on and off for a couple of days.😜 Only so much you can stare at the slingring madness that is Viking Art.... Wait did I just invent a word. *Googles* Ah nope just made the Swedish word for 'twisting in a snake like manner' (att slingra) into an English one. For once there's a better word for it in Swedish. Aaaannyyywayysss Thank you So SO SOoo much!!

Welp, I'm going back to my apartment tomorrow. Going to work didn't really work out so to say. Wrists started almost immediately hurting so I don't think I'm able to go to work at all any more this summer. Slightly frustrating, but what can you do, eh? Can't really tell the old ladies to start a diet because they be getting too heavy 🤣 ain't got a death wish!
Doing all this resin art makes me so excited to do my own sculptures and molds!😍 I mean then the possibilities are literally endless!
But I have to wait for my wrists to get better for that since it's much more taxing on the hands than pouring and stirring.😂
