Every time I search for zevlor hc it's all about his bits.

I wanna know other stuff, how does he flirt? I imagine it's really subtle, especially if you don't know he's interested.

How does this compare to when he was younger? Do you think he might have been kinda wild in his youth and his military schooling straightened him out?

Was he sent to the military, or did he choose it?

in my mind this guy was was probably incredibly confident an maybe even a little full of himself in his youth. I imagine he was some kind of troublemaker and that might be why he wound up with the hell riders.

I notice there's sort of theme with tiefling children for whatever reason being unwanted and i think maybe he felt that way even if he wasn't outright thrown away or abandoned. He likely went to people who could deal with him better, low and behold hes actually good at all this training!

these people these Hellriders the WANT him there, so that's where he stayed. before becoming a commanding officer he probably had his first few relationships with other cadets and the like.

Hellriders patrol all over so he got to see a lot and I think that seeing so much may have affected the things he wants for himself. He came to this conclusion after he felt its been too long he wouldn't be any good as a spouse or father. these are things he muses about on long boring patrols, where he gets to see other people living simple bland lives. farmers with big ridiculous families that he tries not to be a little envious of.

and after, after everything i think he would thin so little of himself that he would never want to burden anyone because surely whoever might want him could probably find better?

i like to think that he just wont confess, no matter how strongly he feels for someone. they have to be brave and tell him, if he admire you hes going to believe that you care... but maybe not that you know whats best for you.

with Zevlor i imagine he adores feeling cared for, appreciated even if its not something hes aware he wants for himself. He'd be over the moon to come home to a warm house, smelling of something baking and being welcomed in with a kiss. let him wash and make sure when he comes out there's a hot full dinner for him. especially on those little special days, those long shifts, days with rotten weather and all that.
