You want to know why canon supercorp endgame is important and not just a flippant wishlist of entitled, overzealous fans some people try to claim it is?

Because sitting next to my mom while she groans at a show’s plotline of a woman realizing her attraction to the same sex because of her feelings for another woman fucking hurts

Because listening to her complain this storyline is unrealistic or ridiculous fucking sucks when that is quite literally how I, her own daughter, explained my journey to bisexuality when I came out to her.

Because watching her roll her eyes and scoff at the mere existence of a character who shares my sexuality fucking stings.

Because watching her get visibly annoyed and irritated by the “audacity” of the writers to change this character’s previously established identity fucking kills me reminding me that even though she loves and “supports” me this is how she really views my identity, as unnecessary, as invalid, as inconvenient.

Because having a show we love to watch and talk about together be ruined and tainted by this shitty reminder fucking aches

Because representation and GOOD representation is vital to not just normalize our existence for someone to tolerate but to promote real and genuine acceptance from strangers and those we love. Because the more you see other people’s experiences reflected in your media, the harder it becomes to ignore them, hate them, or just tolerate them. The more universal these stories become, the harder it is for people to avoid them and remain comfortable in their ignorant perceptions of others. Empathy comes from understanding and we can’t understand those we don’t even see or those we can easily avoid and choose not to see. Representation fucking matters.

Mel being alive, Jayce and Viktor having a dramatic breakup without even dating, Jinx adopting a random child, Caitlyn losing herself in her grief and anger, Jinx blasting Get Jinxed in the speakers she put on Sevika's arm while they kill some people, Sevika acting like a mama bear with Jinx like she didn't hate her guts last season, Ambessa fucking manipulating everyone, Viktor becoming Twink Jesus, Mel being kidnapped, Jinx losing her finger, Caitlyn and Vi kissing and then breaking up not even half an hour later, Vi taking L's over and over again, whatever the fuck was happening to Ekko, Jayce and Heimerdinger-- bruh

*Rio kicks in a door*

Agatha: “I can take her”

Teen: “in a fight right? RIGHT?”

*Rio crawls out of the ground like a zombie*

Agatha: "don't worry I can take her"

Jen/Alice/Lilia: "in a fight right?"

Teen: "it is most definitely not in a fight..."

Listen the leaks suck but knowing that Rio is actually the personification of Death is funny. Remembering that Thanos was literally in LOVE with Death in the comics is funny. He wasn't in the movies and I'm glad and all but it's still funny to imagine it. Imagine being in love with Death—understandable, she's gorgeous—and doing everything you can to get her attention. But Death ignores you because she is gay as hell and too busy still being in love with her ex who hates her, a witch that looks cool and all but also says 'coochie coochie coo' in the middle of a fight. Like. Lmao.

Taking a moment to away from squeeing about Vidarkness...

Let's talk about Lorna Wu.

This woman loved her daughter so freaking much. Like, imagine being in her shoes, suffering under potentially centuries long generational curse that she knows is going to kill her.

Doing everything to make sure it doesn't get her daughter too.

I mean she literally crafted a spell out of a much much older very powerful different spell. Which is huge in itself.

But then. BUT THEN, she must have dedicated every bit of time and energy to make SURE that her spell song would become as famous as it possibly could be.

Not because she wanted to be a star... but because as long as someone, somewhere was playing that song her daughter would remain protected.

And I bet Alice felt forgotten, like she wasn't as important as being famous. Except that it turns out fame was just a means to an end, what mattared to Lorna - the only thing that mattered to Lorna - was saving her daughter.

And here Alice finally knows that.

Agatha's many layers

I like seeing how, as the Road progresses, we see Agatha more and more dishevelled, with layers coming off... And it seems to be reflected both physically and emotionally! How far will this go???

EDIT: Feels like it was even foreshadowed in episode 1 as Agatha clawed her way out through her different personas, down to wearing nothing at all... 👀

rio loves agatha more than her own longing and need for agatha. she loves this woman FIRST and MOST, more than anything she can get out of her. she won't have the pleasure, the connection, she yearns for at the price of deceit, even if rio herself did nothing wrong -- she would have benefited from the lie agatha was telling herself, and she couldn't stand to do that. she doesn't want to steal things from agatha, she wants them to be given freely, joyfully, or not at all. that's *love*. knowing someone that deeply and caring that much. not just wanting things out of someone desperately, but wanting things desperately and still being able to put the person you love first. it would be far less romantic if they'd kissed right then.

I cannot get over the difference in how rio acts when in front of the rest of the covan compared to when she and agatha are alone.

From the zany, crazed, "psycho" act to soft quiet and gentle.

Aubrey does a really good job of portraying this ancient being who doesn't show her true self to anyone except one person.

Feel like everyone isn't talking about this moment enough - I CANNOT wait to go into Lilia's focal episode because this scene alone is so compelling for her character. She's obviously the oldest of all the witches with the exception of whatever primordial being Rio is and just something about seeing her break down over the images of other witches' burning is heart breaking. Think about how much she's been witness to - the tragedies she couldn't stop - the past she can't change and the future she doesn't want to see - her resignation in the beginning of this journey to this moment really strikes the heart. She's been the one calling out the harmful stereotypes that get thrown at her kind but to be reminded of the immense loss was enough to make her crack, I just know her episode is going to feel like swallowing glass!!!
