Rashad mentioned that little talk between him and Aaliyah in Behind the Music. Baby Girl insisted that if she won she want to take Rashad upon stage with her. Rashad mentioned also how touched he was when during her speech she said: My brother Rashad, I love you, you are my everything.

You've got a new album and The Interview With the Vampire sequel, The Queen of the Damned, coming up. And you're only 22! It looks like this could really be your summer.

Aaliyah: You never know... I play Queen Akasha, the mother of all vampires. She's a real bitch, and I was like, "I really want to go there!" I just got cast in the Matrix sequels, too.

Who's your role model ?

Aaliyah: Barbra Streisand in A Star Is Born. Acting, singing - she does it all.

But you've got much better fashion sense that Babs.

Aaliyah: My fashion's street but sweet. I still rock the baggy clothes, but since I've gotten older I've been wearing tighter hip-huggers and Roberto Cavalli's animal-print dresses. I love a sexy, edgy look when I go out at night.

Out on your many glamorous dates, you mean ?

Aaliyah: Hey, I haven't been on a date in a year! Mostly, I'll just do dinner with my best friend, Kidada Jones, or hang at clubs like Lotus with my fashion girls. But lately I've been spending all my time recording or filming. And with the Matrix sequels coming up...

You're quite the multimedia overachiever. Could you kick J.Lo's butt ?
