It's that time of year again! AMonthOfWhump's Winter Whumperland event runs from December 1-12, with a collection of prompts for your inspiration each day. To participate, create in any medium and share your works on Tumblr. Use the event tags or @ us in your post to get reblogged here. Prompt list transcript, tagging info, and a free-to-use post header under the cut.
Whumpuary 2023 Prompt List
There are 10 prompt groups plus Alt Prompts and you can create for those however you want! The numbers don't mean days, so these aren't just for the 10 first days of January but can be used whenever throughout the month. You can pick one of the three prompts (or combine) and post every three days (or any days you want), or even use them all separately and create for 30 days. You are completely free on how many prompts you use or combine and how often you create/post throughout the month. You also don't have to use the numbers in the right order. (Slightly more rules if you want to be on the completionist list, you'll find those in the rules post).
The inbox is open for any questions :) text version of the prompts under the cut
We are excited to present AMonthOfWhump's Winter Whumperland 2022! Transcripted prompts, event tags, and general info below the cut:
Whumptober 2022
Welcome to Whumptober 2022, in its fifth year of running!
To those of you who participated last year, welcome back! To everyone new, WELCOME!
Please make sure to read the Event Info carefully, as most of your questions will be answered there already. For everything else, you are welcome to come to our ask box or ask questions in our Discord server here.
This year’s AO3 Collection can be found here.
With that being said, we’re very excited to see the community come together once more and be a wild, chaotic bunch of creators and consumers of whump. Go wild with the prompts, and support your fellow creators, see what juicy whump they’ve created too! We wish you all the fun!
(All 31 Themes + Prompts, Event Information and FAQs are posted below the cut!)

Now introducing the prompt list for Whumpmas in July 2022! And two weeks before July even starts, no less! Shout out to @herkatively for designing the graphics this year!
The prompts are divided into three categories: questions, prompts, and community activities. Everyone is free to participate as much or as little as they want–there’s no completionist requirement! This list provides a preview of the prompts, but on each day a more detailed post will be released with more context and additional suggestions for each day’s task. Similar to previous years, all prompts and other important information will be found under the #infowhumpmasinjuly tag for ease of access.

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to a Summer of Whump, 2022 style!
This year, I'm doing things a little differently.
For the month of April, I will have a Google Form open to take your suggestions on what the prompts should be.
Then, in the month of May, I will release the finalized list of prompts and give you a whole month to prepare.
Finally, in the month of June, the event will officially start, with one prompt per day.
Here is the Google Form. This will be reblogged throughout April, so feel free to submit ideas as many times as you want.
- Leigh
Can I participate in this even though it'll be winter for me? Lol
*experiences summer in the form of heaters turned on too high in buildings....ah yes...*
Of course! Summer of Whump is for everyone!
