One of my favourite arts I've drawn ~ (and one of my favourite scenes I've written)

That moment where all of Yuuki's walls were down, all the walls he'd been constructing to protect himself (and others) from seeing his raw emotional self.

There's no "'Youth detention centre warden' Yuuki" or "'Person responsible for saving Kyle' Yuuki" - just Yuuki Takahashi, a human being, as his raw emotionally exhausted self with no more walls to hide behind and all his shields torn down...

Whumptober2021 No.10 - Oops, I did it again

hospital | flare-up | ice chips

Kyle's burn scar tissue flares up from time to time, sometimes worse than others.

When it gets really painful? Ice and endure it, because hospitals don't treat him nicely. And keep quiet about it, if possible - otherwise people might insist he go visit a doctor.
