It's a song that I feel resonates with Minharh and his fractured father-son relationship with Kyle.
Whumptober2024 Day 11: “Leave no trace behind, like you don't even exist.”
In order to protect his family, Minharh had to erase any suggestion or proof of his hidden identity - that he is Sa'a Kindall, and he survived a fire that some people hadn't wanted him to survive.
It's a secret that must be kept until the truth of what happened with that fire can come to light.
Whumptober2023 Day 8/9: "İt's all for nothing" | "You're a liar"
A combined prompt for the last two days!
This is both Kyle and Minharh grieving their lost father-son relationship, lost through Minharh's own faked death.
For Kyle, it's a betrayal of trust, and five years of enduring and adapting to a life without his dad (and only friend).
For Minharh, he knew he'd have to reveal his identity to Kyle at some point, if the ever reunited. But Kyle saw through his lies first.
This scene would fall right after the end of Chapter 1 in The Deliverance of Kyle Kindall (KK3)

Happy Mid-Autumn festival.
Families reunite or think about each other from afar while watcing the moon on this day. Kyle has personally never celebrated it, but since Minharh started living with a Arkala'ana-Chinese family, Minharh has felt the significance of the day.
Five years ago, Minharh (Sa'a Kindall) was caught in a fire and nearly died. The circumstances meant he had to live as someone else, pretending he had actually died.
This also meant abandoning Kyle. And living as though he were truly dead in Kyle's life.
Holidays come, and Minharh can only think about his family. The only one he has.
The one he left behind.

"I'll never forgive you."
What Kyle really means is, "I'm not done grieving your dying, or the fact that you made me presume (believe) you were dead.
"You lied to me, abandoned me, and in your absence I hurt badly. I'm not over it. I won't be anytime soon. Let me angry. I need to be angry, because feeling this anger is necessary for me to grieve properly.
"I said I won't forgive you, but the truth really is: I forgave you already, but I didn't let myself grieve properly because of it."
Febuwhump2022 Day 26 (Alt 8): "I'll never forgive you"
This art is part of a scene idea I have floating around in my mind for later in the Kindall K series - with this one (w/ Yuuki) and this one (w/ Minharh).
Even after Kyle's emotional wrestling with his feelings, and understanding his father's rationale for abandoning him, I imagine Kyle in honesty saying, "I'll never forgive you."
And Minharh's reply: "It's okay. I don't expect you to."

"Sa'a...we need to destroy all the evidence that you survived that fire. 'Sa'a Kindall' is no longer alive. You have to let go. Including of that picture of you and your son."

Minharh facing the reality that he might lose his son...for good, this time. The first time he faced losing Kyle, it was as "Sa'a Kindall".
Now, it's as Minharh La'e.

The aftermath of Minharh's injuries (from the A'o Fire) are as much invisible as they are visible
Minharh grieving for the son he lost, but it's not his son who died. It's himself who died.
And he left his kid to deal with it, without a word. The circumstances gave him no other choice...right?
When the son you were forced to abandon five years ago discovers that you've been alive the whole entire time.
Minharh is older, his hair longer and his face more worn, but such things happen over time.
Time which Kyle thought had stopped for good five years ago.

He suffered hypoxia and burns, which damaged his throat and left him paralysed from waist down.
