An old WIP comic I don't think I'll ever finish haha

This scene is about six months after the Ninao kidnapping incident: in the summer following Yuuki's kidnapping ordeal, Yuuki collapses at the Harrison family's house as the exhaustion of post-traumatic stress and the insomnia that's been plaguing him hit him.

The dialogue scribbled on the art differs slightly from what I wrote in the novel version of this scene, but reads:

Twelve days of Whumpmas (NZ version)

Day 4 - Four Calling Birds (Four huhu grubs): Muzzled | Memories/flashbacks | Favourite holiday memories

... mind the whumpee with post traumatic stress disorder. The one that's been captured before, and is now reliving that experience all over again at the same time as this one

(Huhu grubs (huhu bettle larvae) aren't so relevant here 🐛)

What’s a memorable moment that gave you whumperflies?

Ah yes, I remember now! There's these several scenes from the Studio Dragon Kdrama "Memories of the Alhambra" that always give me whumperflies!

Thinking about it gives me the same excitement for the story and whumpy thriller scenes that I felt when I first watched it ✨

I've been trying to think of memorable whumperflies moments and nothing really occured to me - until I was enjoying watching some GIFs of these scenes just now and the whumperflies started dancing ~~!! (Thanks @knights-in-whumperland for creating GIFs of them!)

Beanie acquisition (& Laura's guilt)

As the only witness to Kyle's case, Laura feels like she's partly responsible for this happening:

Two weeks into his imprisonment, Kyle has a near death experience with hypothermia. (There's enough evidence for a retrial now, but it almost came too late.)
