I changed the prompt a little bit for this request, hope you won't mind Anon ! What if it's a caretaker with healing powers, but they have to take onto themself whumpee's pain to heal them. While it's not life-threatening, it still hurts like real injuries. Pros : they don't have to ask whumpee what's wrong, because they feel it Cons : hurts like the real deal and can't be treated with medecine. So sometimes it can last hours before the pain vanishes
Whumpmas in July #6 - Hold On
Unit captain carried back on a stretcher to the field hospital for the medics....but, hold on....those uniforms don't match...
"hold on, lay back down, stop fighting us, we are trying to help you..."
I need to draw more pirate whump
Warming up whumpee before they collapse with the loss of adrenaline rush
I think we are sleeping on cape potential in whump scenarios. This simple cloth can be very versatile : keeps the characters warm or shields from bad wheather, can be used as a blanket, a pillow if folded or even makeshift bandages 👌
I'd be pissed too if someone broke my glasses
We've all heard of boyfriend's shirt but how about ✨𝒸𝒶𝓇𝑒𝓉𝒶𝓀𝑒𝓇'𝓈 𝓈𝒽𝒾𝓇𝓉 ✨?
@whump-side yessss I love these 🥺
A little fanart of @callaeidae3 caretaker merfolk and human whumpee~ I hope we'll get to see more of them !
Uwaaaa 🥺🥺🥺💕💕 *whumperflies~*
Yesss! There will be more of them sooner or later ~ !!
Hold on tight, until help arrives
Whumptober2021 No. 21 [ redraw ] - That's where the blood's supposed to be : Bleeding through the bandages | Pressure | Blood-matted hair
An unexpected snowfall, and a not-so-great time to be out in it
Drawfest2 - Art developed from this drawing!
Development of my initial drawing (linked above) for Drawfest2 Pre-event 1hr Speedpainting "Tiger", with concepts/points applied along the way from Session 2 (Telling stories w/ Kevin Hong), Session 3 (Hair w/ Rosuuri), and Session 4 (Expressions of light and space from architectual POV w/ Shougo Kawata x Yutaka Kikuchi)!
Kyle Kindall found himself in a losing fight and is on the run.
The hunter became the hunted
Drawn for 'Pixiv Drawfest2: Pre-Event One-Hour-Speedpainting' Day 1/2 (Theme: "Tiger").
Kyle Kindall was born in the Year of the Tiger (Chinese Zodiac). Edit: It's a little hard to see, but there's the kanji/hanzi for tiger 虎 in the background!

Twelve Days of Whumpmas (NZ version)
Day 12 - Twelve Drummers Drumming (Twelve piupiu (traditional skirts) swinging): Abandoned | Mugging | Found Family
Recovery in the aftermath of the "Tied to a ponga tree" storyline:
Injuries to bandage, wounds to heal. Yuuki is applying balm to the scratches on Kyle's back. Amelia is likely clenching her jaw against the throbbing pain of her shoulder.
Twelve days of Whumpmas (NZ version)
Day 6 - Six geese a-laying (Six poi a- twirling): Blackmail | Countdown | Last-Minute Relief
Amelia be using her jersey as makeshift bandage for the arrow shot wound on her shoulder. She might want to get that properly taken care soon, though....
In the meantime, she's (mostly) escaped the whumpers, removed the arrow, and is on her way back to rescue her friends.

Poi are weights/balls strung on a cord and swung in rhythmic/coordinated patterns. They're most often seen nowadays in Maori cultural dance, but traditionally also were used as weapons in war!
In Arkala (fictional Polynesian culture from my original story, The Case of Kindall, K.), they also traditionally use poi.
