Dean Winchester has suffered enough. That was the axiom upon which you built your life motto: any way he wants it, that’s the way he gets it. Sure, most people would think it was based on a Journey song and perhaps they weren’t entirely wrong, but the sentiment held truer than anything you’d ever believed in.

It was why you happily baked him apple pies in the middle of the night, made sure to pick up only the best motor oil for his Baby, had seen nearly every episode of Scooby-Doo, and even once purchased a hentai subscription.

However, your maxim seemed to come into play most within your sex life. It was the reason you’d become an expert wielder of praise in the bedroom, gleefully panting endless chants of approval and appreciation through acts of intimacy, moaning around phrases like ‘such a good boy’, ‘so fucking gorgeous’, or ‘baby, you fill me up so perfectly’. You found this incredibly easy because it was all true, and supremely gratifying because he came extra hard every time.

It’s because of what’s implied; what you can read between the lines; what you can picture in the details. This is so well written that I could visualize their entire relationship, their day-to-day lives, the love and respect, and yes, even the sex in the modicum of words.
