spoilers for Hold Your Breath--here's my favorite part of Ebon's performance. chills!!!!
I just watched this movie, and HE FUCKING ATE THAT UP. Ebon has always been so good at playing like, idk, “just some everyday guy who’s maybe an asshole but also has a heart of gold” type characters. Like he excels at being super down to earth and just really “human”. That being said, this one was so different and refreshing and…off putting- BUT IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Like his character is a central part of the film and he pops up and your like “omg ebon 🥹” but then the further you get you realize just how genuinely “off” his character is and suddenly you’re terrified lol. He’s just so genuinely talented.
