They needed to one up Jeremy Allen White’s Calvin Klein ad, and British GQ delivered with Cillian Murphy. AND LIKE HE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO TAKE HIS CLOTHES OFF. IT STILL HAD ME FEELING LIKE A VICTORIAN MAN SEEING A SMALL STRIP OF A WOMAN’S BARE ANKLE FOR THE FIRST TIME.
If I didn’t know who Cillian was I’d assume he’s an accomplished retired ballet dancer turned instructor. Like idk if it’s just because he’s super elegant looking or what but it just makes sense in my head.
So imma just say it : the last Tommy and Alfie scene was boring. The only good things about it was the “little cunt ascending” line and the “me and you” line from Tommy. These are two people who for years have had this really interesting dynamic. And it really feels like SK saw that some of us were shipping Alfie and Tommy and panicked so he gave Alfie a wife and gave him that “I don’t give twofucks about you” line(which feels like something Alfie would say, just not to Tommy). Like shipping aside, their dynamic was always so fun to watch and it left me wanting more from Alfie’s character. Those last two scenes we got from Alfie just didn’t feel like a proper end for his part of the story.
I’d like to retract the the statement in my last post where I said I hadn’t cried. I’m crying now and Tomorrow I’ll probably feel nothing because that’s how my mental health goes.
Season 6 finale spoilers
I- okay so …. The finale was beautiful. It was. It so beautifully shot. And my god was the acting wonderful. Especially from CILLIAN FUCKING MURPHY. and the dialogue for this last episode was better. There was is so much about this last episode I could say. Some good. Some bad. But I feel like there’s not enough words. This show has meant so much to me. And in turn when I say that this was good proper ending for Tommy. I mean it. I can’t explain it. But it all made sense and I judged it to quickly. I’m shaking and kind of beside myself right now, but it’s okay. Thank you to all those involved in the making of this show, it’s been a ride. Jesus Christ…

The show is what it is, in huge part because of YOU. You’re a living legend who made Thomas Shelby an iconic character for many years to come. Thank you, thank you ♥️
I- like how do I begin to talk about how actually disappointing this last fucking season has been. I’ve kept my mouth shut thus far because I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt. But this season has genuinely felt like Stephen knight got tired of writing the show and then just threw something out there in hopes it would stick. Don’t get me wrong the cinematography is amazing, the acting is amazing. The direction in which the story is going and weird out of character moments at times is what is really getting to me. Maybe that’s the point. Maybe it’s supposed to feel uncomfortable and isolating. Idk it’s just causing me to spiral.
If any of y’all ever meet cillian please ask him what cologne he wears. My friend and I have been debating this and I’m thinking like maybe Armani Code or something like that. Idk I just know he’s bound to smell good.
