When I feel sort of stuck creatively tend to turn to rainy day scenes. Here’s a little mouse in puddle.
The weather around here decided to have one last sweltering hoorah before finally allowing Autumn to take over, and it inspired this silly drawing here. That, and I’m always craving ice cream... always.
Haven’t drawn much lately, but trying to get back to it. So as a way to loosen up I decided to draw our newest kitty family member: Saffron, the adorable tortoise shell kitten!
Been a rough time these past couple weeks. But we keep on going.

Feeling a bit stuck this week so I just wanted to keep it loose and low pressure on this one. I like how the colors ended up! It always feels good to just unwind and paint something totally for fun.

Hello there Anon,Thanks for your question! This prompted me to look back at my archive of posts on tumblr over the years, and I think you have a point that the majority of human characters I’ve drawn have been white or Caucasian in appearance. I do have to disagree that I don’t draw any minorities at all, but certainly I could do better to draw more and explore a more diverse range of humans.
