Came across this quote from the 2023 Hobonichi booklet and it really resonated with me. I love flipping through my little book of memories and reminiscing about the past year. It is always exciting to start a new journal and with the end of the year so close I’m sure many of us (almost) can’t wait, but it is also really nice to look back at everything we’ve written down and created.
With a little help from Cherry, I present the little pop-up coffee cup I made. (Watch the video to see it in action) Today I reached 1.5k followers and I wanted to say thank you to all of you!💜 Thank you for making this little space on the internet so nice and inspiring!

Thinking about chickens.
I am not sure where my sudden interest in chickens came from, but I for sure went down the rabbit hole.
thinking about stained glass.
Drawing this window took me a really long time because I painted each diamond shape individually to create a stained glass effect. But uhm, worth it, if I do say so myself.
Something a little different than usual, but I like it for a change. Stickers, packaging and business cards can make for some nice decorations.
If I were a cartoon character with only one outfit, this would be it.
Very pleased with how this drawing and spread turned out. This shade of blue really was the color of my summer.
I have been reading Dracula through Dracula Daily. Here are some of my favorite quotes so far.
The first page all filled up with book covers! This means I have already completed the reading goal I set for this year: 26 books, one book every 2 weeks. I’ll try to complete at least another row before the end of the year.
The books I’ve read so far and my summer TBR! Already read a few of these since taking this picture (Bride, My Roommate Is A Vampire). What’s on your TBR?
Really like this script style for writing down quotes from tv shows. It’s fun to look back at.
My favorite lines from the latest Doctor Who episode ‘Rogue’.
All the things for a perfect day: coffee, books, and a journal
Books read in 2024 (some for fun and some for uni)
In Q1 I read 13 books, a total of 6903 pages
I think about this picture at least once every day and it never fails to crack me up.

I’m usually against posting work without a source, but I couldn’t find one and was hoping that by posting it someone could tell me the source (so I can hopefully find more of these).
The first row is completed! At this rate I’ll fill out both pages. I don’t really have a reading goal, but it’s nice to have an overview of all the books I’ve read so far.
